I tried my first LE velvet matte and, even though my lips are naturally extremely dry, it is a comfortable wear.

I love the Hermes lipsticks, especially the matte formula. That would definitely be one of the first lipsticks I would buy if I lost my entire collection. Such fabulous formula and feel. And beautiful packaging as well.

That’s interesting because everyone I know that’s tried them can’t stand them. They’re formula is like spackle.

Your makeup look today is FIRE!!! You perfectly balanced the cheeks the eyes and the lips while letting the lips do most of the talking -pun intended of course!! It can actually be difficult to pull off a lip color like that and then think you have to balance it with a very strong I look or just ignore the eyes all together ,which is a mistake. Reddish orange is not my jam but it certainly looks lovely on you and like I said your look is perfectly executed.

I know we are talking about lipstick but your eye look today is my absolute favorite on you! I looooove this combinaison of sliver soft grey and light taupe. guess this is chantecaille duo...

Loved the way you kept saying "corpse" in a lipstick video! Your charisma is why I keep coming back to your videos again and again, congrats on a fantastic channel!

I recommend YSL Rouge Volupte for anyone with dry lips and/or if their hands tremble like mine. It's pigmented enough to look like a lipstick, but goes on smooth and easy like a gloss. They have a wide variety of shades, too.

I'm so happy to see that you love Clé De Peau Beauté's Satin Lipstick 12 in Power Mauve as much as I do! The nude shades were all created with the focus that they enliven your complexion and don't wash you out.

I, too, am a fan of that corpse-like lip look. The Bond lipstick in Gramercy Park and Surratt Club Sept are definitely on my list, thanks to you. In fact, I could just use your list and be perfectly happy!

my absolute favourite is the florasis love lock in the shade M520. from the colour, to the formula, and the beautiful design in collaboration with Susan Fang, it has to be my ultimate favourite!

I agree with all of these and would add the Merit lipstick and an Hermes lip balm or the Guerlain tinted lip balm.

I’ve become attached to hot pinks much as you love the great orange reds and I particular love the Dries Van Noten’s - Bad Pink, Plastic Pink as well as Hermes Rouge Feu and Lisa Eldridge Velvet Carnival. Chanel 804 gloss was the first product I purchased on your recommendation and it’s a must. Dior Grace is also on my list. Beyond that its an ever changing whim.

I’m very fond of the Surratt Lipsliques, I have Paramour and Fee Soie, both very understated but the formula is lovely. I’ve not had a problem either with the Armani Lip Power, very comfortable to wear and I’m eyeing up that 102 shade😍

This is such a fun thing to think about! I haven't tried Bond #9 but the way you described them made me think a bit of the matte Hermes lipsticks? Maybe I'll test for myself, haha. I also haven't tried that Louboutin formula and I'm very intrigued!

KZreadrs have a large collection. It’s not something to aspire to as cream lipsticks expire the fastest out of any makeup type. If you can keep up to about 5 lipsticks that have all different finishes and vary in color you should feel good about it and not over spend.

Thanks for the ideas, Michele. There are some on here I’ve never tried. Chantecaille’s lip veil and lip chic, Chanel’s rouge coco flash and Gucci’s rouge de beaute brilliant lipstick are lovely formulas on a more mature lip. None are long lasting but all are comfortable. Westman Atelier’s squeaky clean lip balms are also very nice.

I'd rush to the Christian Dior counter. I love all their formulas, shades and packaging.

I would have to say the Dior "stick balms" in pink and plum. I can't recall the actual title of the product. I think I would like the Chantecialle formula. This is my dream video btw! I live in the sticks which means nothing high end besides Clinique and Estee Lauder. When treating myself to luxury lipsticks, I have to shop online which ends up being a huge guessing game of sorts. I've been eyeing that Club Sept for a while. It will be my first time trying the surratt lipsliques. BTW - I think the surratt lip glosses are one of the best formulas ever. They are a little sticky but I prefer that. That chanel 804 is a dream.

I agree regarding Chantecaille lip chic. I use it when I see my lips are dry 😁 works better than lip balms. I simpluly love them.

Have you tried the Olivia Palermo lippies yet?

My Natasha lipstick makes me look undead but it’s the old formula not the one from the My Dream collection. The lip liner I have has a lot more pink to it than the lipstick. Has the color changed with the reformulated lipstick?

The Louboutin lipstick would need a warm-colored eye shadow to go with it. For me, recent faves have been Skyscraper Rose and Love Of My Life both by Lisa Eldridge and K Romance by Charlotte Tilbury.

I can recommend the Shiseido lipsticks, both ModernMatte and VisionAiry. Beautiful shades, long-lasting, non-drying and feel like absolutely nothing on the lips.
