SUMMARY
- If there is something in your eye like a piece of glass, don’t do anything yourself. Have someone drive you to the hospital. If the object is just an eyelash, then don’t forget to wash your hands before you do anything. Blink to make your tears wash the eyelash out.
- The best thing you can do is clean the wound in cool water with soap and put a dry bandage on it. You will see that the wound will heal more quickly.
- Alcohol rubbing may create intoxication, while vinegar will significantly raise acidity, which is especially dangerous for children. So, don’t believe these outdated pieces of advice.
- Lifting a fainted person up will only aggravate the spasm. What you should do is lift their legs up, unbutton any tight pieces of clothing and don’t let them stand up right after they come around.
After they regain consciousness, don’t let them drink coffee or energy drinks.
- Butter or sour cream dry your skin and disrupt thermal exchange. This results in heat having nowhere else to go but deeper into the skin causing even more damage. What you should do is hold your hand in the cool water for 15 minutes. This will help with the pain.
- You should never set a dislocated joint on your own, no matter how cool and brutal that looks in movies. It may result in additional injuries. The best course of action would be to immobilize the injured limb and go to the hospital as soon as possible.
- When your muscles are sprained, a warm cloth won’t help. On the contrary, heat will strengthen the blood flow, leading to a more severe swelling. In the first days after the injury apply cold. It will lessen the inflammation and kill the pain.
- The standard recommendation for poisoning is to make yourself vomit. It might sound reasonable, but actually, it’s strictly prohibited. First of all, the poison can get into the lungs and damage them. The second problem is that if someone was poisoned with some chemicals, vomiting doubles the change of burning your throat.
- Remember to approach a person from behind so that they don’t see you coming; otherwise, the person may hinder you or drag you down in their panic. After you’ve approached the person, grab them under the armpits or by the chin, and move to the shore, keeping their head at your belly.
- Never try to pull out objects from serious wounds. Even doctors keep them in place until the patient is in surgery. The thing is, while the object is inside the wound it doesn’t let the bleeding start. The only thing you can do is put some alcohol on the wound, but you must be ready for the wound to hurt very much.
- You shouldn’t apply ice directly to the skin if you don’t want to get a cold burn. Instead, put a cloth between your skin and a pack of ice.
- Skin glue is very quick and virtually painless. Wash the wound with cool water before using glue. Then, stop the bleeding by pressing the wound. Close the edges of the wound and put skin glue along it.

Years ago I was babysitting for a group of children. One of them, a five-year-old girl, fell injuring her arm. I was rather certain it was broken just above the elbow. After calling the parents, I secured her upper arm by tying an apron to hold it to her side. Then tied her lower arm to fashion a sling hanging around her neck. I drove her and the other children to an orthopedist her mother had chosen, meeting her there. The doctor said that it had been very well secured. At the hospital she had a pin put in and came out with a hot pink cast. It healed beautifully.

I had triple bypass surgery March of 2019, and guess what? No stitches! I have the traditional chest scar, but it was glued! I was amazed!! You can probably tell from explanation points.
When my brother was like 3 he drank a bunch of laundry detergent and was saved by a lot of water... We didn't even need to call poison control!!! Ofc we got him checked out though and he was fine. So like, call an ambulance then drink water... Don't just call an ambulance! I also remember this vividly cuz I was alive! Just to young to know anything lol!

BRIGHT SIDE: be ready for the wound to hurt. People who have a disorder that removes pain: are you sure about that?
Thanks Bright side 😎
For cuts, abrasions I use honey as an ointment. For burns I submerge the area in cool water. Running water may actually make burns worse. Then I mix honey and aloe vera and put a bandage on it. Sprains and bruising are better soaked with warm water and Epson Salts. Also the skin glue or Liquid Stitch is basically super glue.
My mom is a nurse and she said that the thumbnail and last one at the video is wrong....if you put glue on a wound it will stick to your body forever, give you many bacterias and even if the wound is big it could go inside your body....sooo yeah. She said in that case if you dont have enough medical supplies just rip a piece of cloth or something (must be clean) and just put it on the wound, if it is bleeding put it on and press against it not to hard but not to light, it will cause the blood to slow down...Ok sooo this is my mom's and my advise.

Yeah if I get a bad enough cut I'm going to use an ointment. The reason is that things like triple antibiotic ointments help prevent infection. Cleaning out a wound is essential, but it's not always enough especially with deeper cuts. A batter thing to do is to air out you wound once, clean it again, and if need be more ointment.
a baby boy had sitches then after removed nothing happed and when he went to the doctor he was so happy and grateful to be recovered

Useful
I had 3 surgeries in my life time. One to have 2 moles near my private area removed, one on my right foot, and one on my left foot. On my first surgery, They had to put skin glue on the spots that were cut. Recovery was not that bad all through we had to clean my private area and sometimes, the skin glue would get stuck on the hairs in my private area and that was painful. On my second surgery, they had to put stiches but those stiches were not regular and they disolved perfectly. On my third surgery, they put in those disolveable stiches, however, I had an allergic reaction to one of the ingredents in the surgical wipes and the stiches along with some red rashes on the cuts made my left foot itchy. My foot doctor reccomonded to remove those stiches at home and it was painful. Story Made By: Molly Easterling (ME TM Productions)
