It's a breakfast in Bangladesh as well. We call it chira doi gur.

I'm from Bangalore and have had most of them in a near by sweet shop didn't knew the extent of diversity in Bangalore.

Assam doesn't have a specific sweet other than narikol laru/ tilor laru. But my favourite sweet is Chena puro from Odisha, which sadly hasn't been featured here!

For eg Odisha Rasgulla has got GI tag like Bengal Rosogulla but which is popular we all know and why is it that way because Odisha also hasn't done anything in that. State govt should encourage tourism the state has the potential to be one of the best. You need more achievers to promote the state whether on TV or Movies. Need more stories of Odisha may be on OTT. And also sometimes it's okay not to be popular Bihar UP are so popular but we know why.

@Culinary Marvels! Telangana wasn't a part of Andhra Pradesh in the first place. It was a part of Hyderabad state which constituted parts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. AP was a part of Tamil Nadu which was later divided and made a part of Telangana against the will. So with your logic what should the origin be? TN? Karnataka? Maharashtra? Telangana?
