Just ordered this round wheel mod a few minutes ago. Awaiting delivery of a previously ordered Formula mod for another ES wheel I purchased as a donor. MOZA really needs to start selling the button boxes as an accessory. I'll now have two flat bottom wheel rims collecting dust starting next week.

Including this rim by default from now on is the most obvious change they can make. Yes, it is bigger by 2cm than the standard one, which might make the motor feel ever so slightly weaker but it is more lightweight than the D-shaped one, so the up & downsides even out in my opinion. Thrustmaster released a 30 & 32cm steering wheel a few years ago which can be mounted to the T300 which has 4Nm torque after some multiplication yet the Ferrari 599XX wheel which is also 30cm & more lightweight feels as good if not a little better than the default rim they include, so I don't think the R5 with its 5,5Nm torque will feel underpowered after this change. It's a good change & will make driving the majority of vehicles like cars & big trucks more realistic as well as immersive than before

Amazing video! Clear, informative and straight to the point. Wish everyone followed this style. As others mentioned, I'm annoyed that the round wheel isn't the default for the ES wheel, but I'm thinking of just getting the CS instead since it's about the same price. Going to miss the extra buttons though.

Now I just received the R3 Bundle and Its wheel is supposed to have "Durable ISF PU Grips" but the whole thing is one piece of cheap plastic the "grips" are just dimpled sections. I'm hoping the 12" mod will have a better feeling larger wheel.

If the original wheel just wasn't D-shaped to begin with, this product probably wouldn't exist. The size is nice though. All these wheel brands have to stop making their default allround wheels D-shaped, it's so stupid.

I ordered the first ES along with the formula rim mod back in December from 6 Sigma Racing. It'll be interesting once I get it. The original ES rim is just a bit too small in addition to the flat bottom. I find it a bit difficult coming from a CS rim to catch tank-slappers, etc... The smaller size means you have to be that much more precise with the rate of rotation. It can lead to too much counter steer at higher speeds. I look forward to a slightly larger wheel rim.

Mine didnt come with stickers.

Does it worth the price this plugin? In comparison with the original one. More expensive than the formula mod, and changes less things to me than the formula one.

It's annoying how companies deliberately create problems then offer solutions at premium prices. All sim racing companies do this, it's as if sim racing isn't expensive enough.
