One of my favorite movies and the seed of my curiosity of other dimensions... Crazy how many more movies they made with similar concepts... I hope that there is a good reason for knowing all the things that the scientists at CERN are learning that can help mankind, otherwise it's just a way to fulfill curiosity. If the money being spent is worth it is, I guess, a matter of perspective. As far as the danger of slamming particles into each other, I guess we will have to wait and see.
