The fuck they werent? A lot of times some eps ended without a resolution ,sure. But it didnt make it real. I remember one eps that pissed me off roseanne was pregnant and got stuck in the competitors restaurant exhaust vent . The eps ended. In the next eps they didnt explain how she got free. Or if they were found or anything. Sure seems "real" to me. Dont get me wrong it was funny. But dont act crazy. There were also several episodes where they didnt add to the storyline. They were hallucinations or dreams. Especially towards the end of the series.

Judd palmer the ratings for the Roseanne reboot were way higher then the conners could ever dream of pulling in. Roseanne reboot premier pulled in over 25 mill and the Conners around 8mill., not exactly the right numbers, but same ballpark. The Roseanne reboot would have brought in way more ad revenue for ABC then the Conners.. The lady who thought it was a brilliant idea to fire Roseanne so fast after a tweet that she profoundly apologized for was also fired a few months later. Pretty much Sara Gilbert Aka Darlene and one of the head writers lynch mobbed Roseanne outa of her show. I refuse to watch the Conners as do many Roseanne show fans feel the same way. ABC actually shot themselves in the foot and largely regretted their “knee jerk” decision. Roseanne Barr also regrets her tweet, but ate crow over it right away. The reboot was not as funny, cuz of the Darlene and her kids plot. DJ too... with no Roseanne & Jackie anymore I can’t imagine how boring the Conners is. Of course it’s still on the air, people loved the cast and the characters Roseanne Barr created.

  • @MorgorDre

    Жыл бұрын

I think Roseanne needs shoes … and from there on it escalates quickly. Al makes fun of her size, she doesnt let it slip. Roseanne follows Al home and tries to insult the whole family. Peggy and the kids then follow Roseanne and make a scene in the diner, the husbands agree to fight it off… alone. Cut. Next scene is Dan and Al sitting in a garage and drinking, agreeing on how horrible women are. The kids meanwhile wait in the garden and try to one-up each other whose family is worse. They start liking each other and therefore go to the mall (or something). Of course none of the girls is interested in Buds romance… and Becky is kind of a third/fifth wheel. The kids scene closes on something like Darlene, Bud, DJ and Kelly giving the dog chili, while Becky is just giving them the side eye. While the woman wait for their husbands to fight it off, they start complaining how stupid and primitive men are… trying to one-up whose is more incompetent or had a harder life. In the end they agree, that their husbands are nothing without them but they have husbands only because its more easy than having an additional pet. They dont leave as friends, but with the feeling of an empowered woman. Arc closed. In the bloopers/outro you see a crazy scene where Roseannes Cop Sister arrests Marcy on a woman protest…
