Yes! I love complimenting a woman on her outfit! No RBF! It builds up other women, and makes me feel good too. New York ladies just need a little love too.

As someone who has worn Sambas for 20+ years and ballet flats I love to see how people are styling them! Also you might try a slightly shorter pant or jean to really show your fun studded shoes off. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you ❤

Though I like them on others, at age 76 I find sneakers just make me feel frumpy so opt for other types of footwear. On that note re the studded ballet flat and for those who are creative; in the notion section of many fabric stores you can purchase iron-on studs which could always be glued on that come often in both gold or silver finishes in different sizes and shapes, to design your own. (They come in a package on a card and were discovered when I was making American Girl 'n Boy Doll clothing for my Grand Daughter's dolls that gave the illusion of rivets that you see on blue jeans etc. so their scale is perfect for a shoe, sandal or sneaker.) With all said; totally enjoyed the content today!

I'm a short train ride outside of NYC. This is a great example of how regional outfits vary so much from what is in Texas & Florida, which is where most of the influencers live. Besides the cold weather differences, our fashion in general can be quite different. But I still grab an idea or three from y'all when I can!

I honestly never think twice about what others are wearing or care if they are looking at me!

As much as I love the high neck tanks over scoop neck, some of it comes to body type, When you are petite and extemely chesty, the higher neck somehow increases the dumpy-ness. Showing more neck makes me look more proportionate.

Thank you for talking about "the looks" that women give each other in public! 😂 It is not something I typically hear about except in a judgemental context, but I love to appreciate fashionable expression on other people but don't always have the time or opportunity to say so out loud. I'm a short train ride outside of the city, just in last weekend (saw Billy Joel, finally!!) and I did see some of those guitar straps when we were walking around Chelsea before the show. I was looking at bags though, as I need to add a new crossbody and wanted to make sure the thick straps were still a thing.

I love higher necklines but with my big bust, I end up looking heavier than I am. It’s just not a flattering silhouette on me 😢

V necks usually look best on a larger bust! The high neck tank brings attention to your shoulders tho, so maybe try a darker color?

I purchased several high-necks T’s at Old Navy for $4.98 each and great quality/fit. Love denim on denim but in Florida I like jeans with sleeveless denim tops!

Ha! I am wearing my silver leather ballet flats today. They are sooooooo freakin' cute. I've always loved Mary Janes and this is truly a way to be able to wear them at 60 and not look weird.

People watching has always been a favourite activity of mine . I know exactly the once over look women give each other , while checking out the shoes also . I realized that I seldom noticed others' shoes unless they were limping . So now I check out shoes too. - low comfortable heels mean less limping and weird striding . Like on the Simpsons babies and toddlers are mostly interested in checking each other out . Amusing to watch .

I have the black sambas and white sambas. Now I want the burgundy ones!! Hahah. Dammit.

Those trainers that you have mentioned are the same ones on trend in London, United Kingdom. I came out of the train station near my job a few weeks back and there were three sets of feet ahead of me in the Adidas Sambas, to the point where you begin to wonder if they’re sold for £10 per pair.😁 The New balance 327 trainers are a close second too. I also remember when it was the Veja trainers on trend. If you didn’t own a pair, you definitely felt like the odd one out. I could sit on the train on my way home and count how many feet were in those trainers.

Hi Anna, I think you look beautiful and fashionable in your maxi denim, that’s why ppl were looking 😉😜 anyways I like my sneakers on some platform, unless it’s my Chanel ones, they have something already to the look…. But I do wear very long jeans, and I am tall, but still platform gives me something. But overall I think I am tired of chasing trends, I want something classy but edgy , and timeless, and that’s why my Chanel , all that was too memorable or can’t withstand time gone and I replace with Celine old archives, and some Prada. Speaking of Prada, I have news for you on those sheer skirts, so I got it. It’s not so sheer. They should be coming ( mine did) with slip / underskirt . My is black with silver greyish bottom. So top part is not so short it ends like mini skirt. And with slip it’s nothing too sheer. And of course, it can be added another layer, if someone wants even more coverage or longer mini, can be like 3 different parts look. it’s little bit strange at first that top black part, is made of real wool. ( not that crepe, like skirt, pants wool, but like light coats or jackets rough wool, but when I put in it’s not so crazy, it’s not summer skirt , but in SF late October through February / march I was thinking to replace with silk wool crepe. But It might bottom kind of net, little bit sturdy part would not work . It’s fine as it is. Need take it in, so my alteration lady let me know, if I decide to keep, Is it timeless ? Will I wear it 10 years from now? I don’t know maybe I should return 🤔 but it does look nice. I paired with Annie Bing Brigit bardot t shirt , or turtleneck when it gets cooler. Ah I don’t know 😂 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I dont know girls, I just cant bring myself to like ballad flats. Not the regular, nor Mary Jane style, mesh ya none of them make me feel like they elevate any outfit on me myself.
