Fans are always like that BL or not, well can you blame them? They invested time and some money, yes they are entitled since humans are free to be what they want. But actors and actresses should first know what they are in for. What ever they want to do, i hope they don't forget that they are humans and it's instinct that if you hurt someone physically or in some other aspects are crossing the line be it fans or actors, laws sometime fails but conscience as humans didn't.

I agree with you, I believe most of the BL actors out there are not gay either. But you should probably word it like I did with emphasis on the 'believe' because unless they have officially confirmed their sexuality you can't really say 'they are' this or that. Because since the actor didn't confirm this, no one but they know what their true sexuality is. There is also the possibility that quite a few of them ARE gay (not saying they ARE but saying there is a POSSIBILITY). However, they might either be interested in someone that ISN'T their BL shipped couple, or they already have boyfriends in real life that AREN'T their BL shipped couple. After all, Earth and Fluke are openly gay but they are not with their BL shipped couples. They both had boyfriends before filming some of the series that skyrocketed them into higher popularity such as UWMA etc... but their boyfriends were NOT their BL shipped couples. So there is also the chance they are gay but they aren't with their BL shipped couples. It would be nice if they did end up with their BL shipped couples but that is very rare to have happen and almost never does. However, there is a very rare and slim chance that a BL shipped couple CAN become a real couple in real life. After all, look at all the straight couples out there who started dating because they fell in love with their co-star in the series. It DOES happen. So it can happen with a BL shipped couple too. But I think it would rarely happen. Still, we can't really write off the chance that a BL shipped couple could get together in real life, it's just highly unlikely.

Perth who played in Kinporche said around 10 to 20 percent of BL actors are gay. I wouldn't be surprised if gay actors don't want to play in BL due to toxic fans and fan service.

@@blahlbah8602 As well as GL series GAP and in the special episode of The Sign. He continues to produce Y series himself so it's not like he cut ties with the genre. It's a shame that he's been placed on the same list with ppl who actually did just that. Saint has always been proud of all of his work and fought hard for representing lgbtq community in media. Bl has never been a stepping stone for him to get to the mainstream. He treated it with the same respect as any other work.

Chimon did his first BL in 2017. He did an Our Skyy episode for that one and he was in Never Let Me Go as a side couple with Perth before Dangerous Romance. He is taking a break from acting as a whole due to his mental health and has never said he will only do heterosexual roles when he comes back.

I wish Ohm would take a stand like Mew did. I feel bad for Nanon, because it's so obvious that he's uncomfortable. He initially turned down the role of Pran, and I honestly wish they'd just taken no for an answer. As much as I loved watching Bad Buddy, I feel uncomfortable knowing one of the actors may have actually been uncomfortable with it.

I really hope they can continue their friendship, and perhaps work together again some day, though I think it's safest for them to not act as a couple again. Seeing as Saint is mostly taking on support and quest roles, I think he'll keep his focus on directing, and working on improving representation of the LGBTQ+ community in BL And seeing how well Perth seems to fit in at GMMTV, I'm happy to see he found his place, and hope he'll be able to take on roles he enjoys, and that will challenge him as an actor, without being typecast

The whole problem with this thing is the excessive fanservice!!! Why can't actors just act in a series and then move on like every other industry actors. But in Thailand, that's like a taboo, and actors need to feed the imaginary brains of toxic fans forever. Fanservice in Thai bl needs to be cancelled, PERIOD!!!!

I can’t say for sure but I have a feeling that the management/the companies are pushing the actors to do all this fanservice cause it befenfits them in a way. And sure, it will make the toxic fans go crazy over the actors and buy merchandise and pay lots of money to come to their events. Really fucked up in my opinion. I feel sorry for the actors to have to deal with this shit just so they can pursue their dreams of becoming an actor. For some of them I believe they are not doing fanservice, it’s just how they are towards eachother because they are really close friends, but they get backlashed from toxic fans accusing them of only doing fanservice which leads to them not being able to be themselves in front of others. The whole thing is just a big mess. Set things straight Thailand!!!! Just not too straight 😅😝

This kind of things doesn't happen in Korean bl and Japanese bl even tho Taiwanese bl actors also does fan service and all they are not this much problematic as in thai... the fanservice in thai is a whole new extent more than the physical contact they are feeding fans so much sweet acts making the people believe as if they are together irl too, they go so many extremes even by involving the family members of the actors like "his mother also approves" kind of things which only is so excessive and is making already toxic fans become more toxic.

Shipping is wrong. Acting on it is ABUSE! Fan service is a toxic business practice that incentivizes abuse. It should go away.

I'm really sad about Chimon I believe big part of his mental issues were caused by all the hate he was getting which is so unfair. I hope he recovers soon and can come back stronger.

You see that there's prejudice on the part of some actors who see the BL world as a springboard to success. However, theres a lot of disrespect from BL fans who want to force a real relationship between the actors, without understanding what fanservice actually is. The difference between promotion/marketing of a series/work and the real lives of the actors. Just an addendum: homosexuality is not illegal in China, what censorship does is that television productions in China are partially or fully financed by the government and the government does not finance BL series, which is very different from homosexuality being illegal, it is not.

@@jisungissuperior9597 censorship is quite serious in China. Addicted Heroin had several problems, in production, with the exhibition, with the story and later with the actors. First problem is that the story configures incest for the Chinese, I know that here in the West people getting involved with their in-law or stepbrothers is not so taboo, but in China it is quite a bit. The explicit content of the homoerotic scennes was also questioned, and the novel itself, which contains a lot of abuse and graphic sexual violence, was completely banned. The author had to justify the novel and everything. So, the series didn't even have an ending in China, because of its hyperpopularity, the censors cut the last two or three episodes, which contain homoerotic content. When the series' producers insisted on publicizing the series and the two actors, as well as planning the second season, the Chinese government banned the two actors from appearing in programs and events together, censorship hit them hard. Another version of this novel was recently made in a bromance style and there will be a boyslove thai version.

Its not always the fans . but management teams. All this promotion why is it needed? Money money money. Some of the shows cost $100 + to buy a ticket. Most of us females can see a potential gay man from a straight one. They say there are different levels of sexuality. But if for 6 months to a year these actors keep playing the part some fan's may get confused. I watch the show for the comedy and the story the actors are just playing a part some better than others.

It seems like the majority of the BL fandom is ignorant and toxic. I don't blame the actors for never wanting to work in the genre again. Also - they are ACTORS - a lot of Thai BL is only just opening up to the idea of genre BL - so obviously they'll want to grow and explore everything their profession has to offer, BL is just one part of it. Also for the love of god, whether they are gay or not DOES NOT MATTER, what matters is that they treat the Queer community and their queer fans with respect. No one is asking them to participate in a Pride parade, but also don't be like Foie from GMMTV and threaten a college with a r**e "joke". At the end of the day they are also people who owe you, the public, nothing.

He HAD to drop out of Perfect 10 Liners so it only made sense for them to replace him in his pair as production was already underway - who knows what the future brings for him and Perth, or him and any other actor. This wasn’t Chimon’s first BL role, so it very well might not be his last.

When I heard they weren't going to cancel his other role, I actually felt a bit worried. The fact that he had to be hospitalised means it's serious, and I'm not sure if he'll be recovered enough in time to be fully ready to take on that role once they start the script readings and workshops

Mew is with Tul and still producing/acting and Gulf is doing well with regular lakorns so in the end it turned out ok for both of them :)

I really don’t get why people keep hating on dangerous romance couple despite the series being successful I loved it even I personally don’t like school bls , You don’t need so many NC scenes for a series to be good I feel bl fans are obsessed with love scenes I think they need to watch regular series for a minute to remember how love stories works 😂

They are actors and play different people for their living. It's fine that they decide which roles they want to play, just a shame that some fans and some managements go OTT and spoil relationships.

Most of these people I could care less about. Elijah is the only one I’m proud of for hearing his reasoning. I do think that probably 25% of BL actors are gay/bi it’s not like they could have an actual relationship because of fans. I also agree that there are plenty of gay actors who should be doing gay roles. Nicholas Galitzine recently also said this after doing 4 gay roles in a row that he found it sad that so many gay people weren’t getting cast and he felt he was stealing roles from people who understood them better.

In fact other actors praised them always being real gentlemen behind the scenes. We can accidentally rid ourselves of a perfect cast sometimes if we straight up reject someone based on their sexual preference. My opinion is that straight and gay ppl should be able to compete for straight and gay roles equally.

Ship the characters they are playing not the actors in real life. They are all actors, obviously they are going to play both bl and straight roles, it's their job. And the very toxic fan service culture might also be another reason for them to quit this genre.

When mew wasn’t dating. He told us he was single since tharntype till late 2022. Even after tharntype he went on multiple interviews and media and told everyone he was single. He even mentioned on multiple occasions that he hadn’t talked to gulf since last year (ofcourse waanjais attacked him for it and said he was lying - when he was actually telling the truth - and meant in thai years) months later again he told us and the media that he hadn’t spoken to gulf in over a year which was yet another truth in 2022, way before he had to clarify again via tweet in 2023 because shipper fans just won’t listen and attacking mew with their tarot reading that he was cheating on gulf and leading shipper fans on (even tho, he hadn’t mentioned gulf in over 2 yrs) Then when mew was no longer single, he told us fans so in late 2022 we knew he was dating someone. And that someone wasn’t gulf. (He said so himself) Hes always been truthful. His actual fans listen and the crazy mewgulf shippers that wanted them to date even tho gulf is straight, never listened to him and was spreading lies on social media, especially tiktok about mewgulf secretly dating. Anyways mew has always said he doesn’t care about the role he gets, acting is acting, can’t wait to see him in more bl. He’s actually part of the community and not using bl as a stepping stone. Bye

He also had a BL role in My Dear Loser: Edge Of 17, with Pluem. This ship also had their own Our Skyy episode. They were the second couple of this part of the My Dear Loser series. First couple being played by Nanon and Jane (they were adorable together) Edit: I forgot to mention that in this series, they didn't have a kiss scene.

I watch many of this series and love each couple but I know that there have to be limit. I am really glad to see them and will never regret that I am one of their fan. I know it is not real and I can feel how hard it is to be a actor. As a fan I will always support them and as a fan I should ask for forgiveness that they have to go through this much. I think they have right to choose for themselves just like us. I personally don't know any of them but I am glad that I watched them. It's make me realise that my life is way better and can be more. I learnt that how much struggle we have to do and the most important thing is they taught me to start over after the fall. They are the reason I can know a little bit about lgbtq, those strong people who live their life in all hard time to make their ones to be proud even if they have to sacrifice something precious in their life. I don't think that sacrifice should be done by only them. I personally think that as we don't the things we like then what is there to be shocked or bully others just because they are different from you. Love and support are the things everyone wants and should have. Thank you for everything and thanks to the crew and actors for giving me this knowledge and happiness.

Thankfully we are getting Gameboys Season 3 with Elijah Canlas returning and I for one am thankful!❤

About gaya se pelikula, The one of the lead actor (the one who is in your list)has complained about someone in the crew of sexual harassment. So the sequel got cancelled.

Tragic that Saint-Perth-Zoe… had to go thru this. They were just trying to practice their trade. And the others that suffered at fans hands is so sad…and destructive to the actors/lives.

Some actor did BL because it can be a very good starter but they shouldn't do BL if they aren't supportive of the LGBTQ rights community because that's hypocritical. On the other hand fans should remember that BL actor are actors and they are doing their job so we shouldn't project our fantasies on them and know where the limits are.

What is hypocrisy? Most viewers from Asia are not gay! Not bi sexual! They just like to watch BL on screen that's all! Sadly it's still truth! Law and regulation can't change a society and people so fast! Like in China, most parents oppose the children being gay at any cost but they like to watch BL! And actors are all professional, they will accept everything profitable and which make them popular, it's very natural! In our country, many gay actors did straight romantic roles throughout their entire career because BL is absolutely not popular in our industry! Yes, government law support full right of LGBTQ community and viewers are there, but they are not ready to watch BL from own country! Society is strange. In fact they hide it from media, only people related to entertainment industry was aware about it.

@@marina2024aqua​​⁠​⁠there is a difference between queer actors taking heterosexual roles and homophobic actors taking queer roles. comparatively to homophobic actors, queer actors don't think heterosexuality is "wrong" and take heterosexual roles because there aren't as many lgbtq+ roles in a conservative heteronormative society as there are heterosexual roles (and if there are, they are taken by non-queer actors), whereas homophobic actors take these limited queer roles to profit off of and use as a stepping stone in their careers while being blatantly disgusted by queerness. it IS disingenuous and hypocritical and should 100% be pointed out. enjoying an lgbtq+ series and being a bl/gl fan should mean acceptance of queerness and rejection of homophobia.

@@misscaite I understand what you wanna say, unfortunately Asian society is different, young girls specifically from South Asian nations or middle East Asian nations may like BL series just because of some fantasy, nothing else! They just enjoy two good looking young men together, that's all. In most cases, the viewers are very young not even 18! More often they don't have any clear idea about LGBTQ community. I myself watching bl series since 2016 ans before 2017 I didn't have any clear idea about the meaning of LGBTQ, I never heard it before, none of my family members, friends discussed it! It's just because of our society. Wrong or right is far story, some young fans just think that everything is possible in Thailand as because it's a fantasy world! People watch movies because of entertainment matter, reality is far away. Many people support them as a ship openly, in their real life they don't believe the existence of gay people! The reason is very clear, they never heard it outside BL world!

My pov as one of the BL’s fans that I need to be more wiser to differentiate on / off screen to avoid any trust issue thru particular on screen bl couple because its just a film.

Nanon is a shining star 🌟 he is shining without toxic bl fans. His acting skill is irresistible and he is just super cool! 😎 He doesn't need any partner to be associate with to feed toxic fans.

I don't care if their career path takes a different trajectory but toxic fans being responsible for the change makes me sad. They are amazing entertainer/performers, and we like their character's persona and buy into the relationship fantasy, but that is what it is, a fantasy. Please acknowledge that a REAL person is portraying a fictional character, and even though they are in the public's eye they deserve privacy in their personal and freedom from judgment and insults. It is up to them to share or not. As for Saint, I am so proud of him for creating a fun and comfortable, non-toxic workplace for lgbtq dramas, one he was not afforded. He saw a problem and actually took steps to help fix it.

Toxic fans are extremely abusive towards the actors they supposedly love and their beloved actor’s imagined enemies. They are emotional and psychological bullies on Red Bull and cocaine and their love bombing & obsessive abuse puts those actors’ mental health in complete danger. Shipping actors is toxic and abusive, as well, only it’s not just the fans that are perpetuating that abuse. The Thai bl scene has just become completely sad. I feel so awful for any bl actor having to endure all that. Shame on anyone that perpetuates this behavior online. One comment becomes billions so I hope people think next time they type negativity towards any actors on their computers. Fans don’t own any actor’s love life or relationship/friendship and they don’t owe us anything.

To be really honest I don't know much about Z and S but the way That Evil Manager has been doing things for 2 years Now I don't think it's a far fetched... Biggest problem Znn fandom have is the way he manage their schedule and treat Znn... He uses them as cash cow without providing any help even when Z recieved Death threats... He's not the same p'Aof. One was a manager (of Zee's shown in the photo) and the other is a director working a lot at GMM (Bad Buddy's etc.). Perth has worked with the latter and yes he did leave his previous manager who screwed over Saint and then he left Studio Wabi Sabi management.

This speaks to how companies need to support and protect the actors from fans! This is ridiculous, having your work life holding your personal life hostage. I really don't care about the shipping I just want an excellent BL plot, seeing new actors is good I get bored of seeing the same two or six actors again and again. The fan service is too much, some people actually believe they're a real couple when it's just part of the JOB.

I love Meen. Him not wanting to be type casted should be commended. Fans are so quick to criticize and judged. We also have to remember that we aren't always givien the whole true story.

Well, if he didn't want to be typecasted then he should have said so. Instead the mocked the genre and said he'd only do bl again if he run out of money. I guess this time might come sooner than he expects bcs from what I've seen he's been going around the media begging for someone to give him a lead role. Disgraceful.

It’s their choice whether or not to continue in these roles. Using BL as a stepping stone is a natural progression to understanding and growing their craft. They are actors after all.

Homosexuality was decriminalized in China in 1997 although recently gay drama's have been heavily censored. Both of the stars from Addicted continue to play lead roles in many dramas. Why do the creators of the videos continue to spread rumors? Do some research on good websites and not Wikipedia.

Who are you to judge. It is a job.

It's not judging it's facts.

Its not always the fans . but management teams. All this promotion why is it needed? Money money money. Some of the shows cost $100 + to buy a ticket. Most of us females can see a potential gay man from a straight one. They say there are different levels of sexuality. But if for 6 months to a year these actors keep playing the part some fan's may get confused. I watch the show for the comedy and the story the actors are just playing a part some better than others.

Besides Addicted Heroine, I think the absence of these "actors (really?!)" will not make the slightest difference in the BL world. And I've never heard any of their names in mainstream dramas.

The problem starts with people connecting BL or yaoi with lgbt when it's originally not (those kind of people who believe in Charles Darwin, that thinks humans are monkeys since they look the same.) Second are actors wants fame not passion of being an actor (actors who use the character for fame and never acted the same character again after fame). 3rd are fans not understanding that actors can sometimes play trees not only prince charming. P.S I'm here for some good BL. Good production, good acting and good storyline. In short I'm in for a good entertainment😉 I'm just sad to lose some good acting actors who will never play my favorite genre again.

The excessive fanservice is the problem in thai bls...these never let the toxic fans believe that the actors arent together 24/7... the fanservice is so overboard in thai bls...they arent together irl, but the companies milking money from fanservice is so much that they'll always allow what the toxic fans want.

BL has a clue in its tittle. Boy. Its surprising to find out boys grow into men. They grow out of Boy Love.

At the end of the day, these performances are merely that; performances. Taking them too seriously is detrimental to all parties involved. On that note, if an actor chooses to not to return (even if their presence was only to springboard) then that is their prerogative. However, respect must remain key on all sides, even theirs. So long as respect for the fans, crew, and represented groups is present then I wish them greatness. I withhold final judgement since I can't know the full story but wiping a series from your personal record or blatant disgust with the role is almost intolerable. Again, I don't know the whole story, perhaps there was harassment and the actor chose to pretend it never happened (excuse, maybe) but that's throwing away the fans with the issue. It lacks respect. Is it really so hard for people to show respect?
