Yes it is. The most known is 1. WW Soča batles. There were coridores for all soldiers of all wars hapened on this area, but we survived.

I am unlikely to travel again. All I can do is sigh and agree, what a beautiful little country. The gruesome statues and the aggressive music fests are serious deterant though.

All who has bad experiance with police must know, that my country isn't wild west, but midle European country with low criminal and anarchy and want to stay so. Velika Planina - huts are not kozolec. Kozolec looks completely differently. Please do you research properly! Or at least check with a Slovenian person. Cvicek is from region Dolenjska not Celje.....

I will NEVER GO THER AGAIN. I was driving transit & highway police, charged me 160 euros, for nothing. An easy way of making money, out of unsuspected tourists. After I paid & left, I returned to my country and went to local Slovenian embassy/consulate to complain, and they wouldn't even open the door to let me in. DON'T EVER GO TO SLOVENIA. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't fool us. You didn't pay highway vigniette which costs 15€ per week, so you were fined.

@@visevnik I DID PAY the vignette. But it was not glued to my windscreen. Nobody told me that I had to stick it to my windscreen. The policemen understood what happened, I showed them the vignette, and the receipt. But they wouldn't change their mind. They fined me. In Bulgaria, you don't stick the vignette in the windscreen.

So they charge you correctly. Rule is clear that vignette needs to be on the windshield. So police stopped and charged you fully correctly. It was even writen on the vignette in the past that is valid only glued on the windshield. Was impossible to miss this….

@@dimitrispap7977 Sure you got finned if you don't glue it to windscreen. If it wouldn't be necesary to glue it, everyone would just pass on. They had every right to fine you.
