Let me try to explain. For about 15 years I have been vacationing every summer in Greece (with the exception of two vacations in Turkey and one with relatives on the southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria). First, the Black Sea is not as exotic and beautiful as the Aegean or the Mediterranean (it is called the Black Sea for a reason). Yes, it's better than the Russian Black Sea, but it's still the Black Sea. Second... the infrastructure in Greece is at a much better level. In Bulgaria, the seafront is overbuilt. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly for Bulgarian tourists, it is actually cheaper to vacation in Greece than in our homeland. And the service is on a better level, people are very polite, probably to make you feel good and spend more money, but it works, they really make you feel good.

Many Bulgarians choose Greece because it's relatively cheap and close to our country. You are our south neighbours. Most Bulgarians are happy with the service in the restaurants(taverns), seafood, and the like the White Sea. It's also cheaper than in BG. We also have an amazing coastline in our country, with fine beaches, but I guess we have been there for so many summers that now we just get bored and decided to switch to Greece. I think Bulgarians are the biggest number of tourists that Greece has had in the past 3-5 years. And last but not least we can simply afford it financially.

Not the best representation, the drone footages don't show most of why a certain place is worth visiting, and many names are not pronounced correctly. I would suggest to watch another video, done by a local person. :)
