I got one of those chargers too. I have a new Redodo 100ah lifepo that arrived with 13.1 SOC and I used it to run some lights for my tomato plants that draw 133amps. They took the battery down to like 12.7 or so. I then used that charger to to bring it back up and it settled on 14V and said FULL on the screen I let the BATT sit for 30 min. and it measure 14.4 on the volt meter. 14.4V .= 3.6 per cell. It worked well for me. I'm going to charge up the battery on my old Mustang that is down to 11.8 and see how works for SLA battery.

Nice video... Bought the same charger some days ago...if it gives you full battery quickly under normal charging you need to change the mode to repair mode...then the battery will be revived ....it can take up to 24hours for the process to be completed

I just purchased 4 of these, hope they are worth it. I have battery's that can handle 200amps of charge current each. I will be hooking all 4 chargers into a bus block that will charge 400ah of lifePO battery's that total 400 amp continues discharge/charge ability between the two battery's. That should give me close to 80amps on 12v, I almost purchased the 25amp version until i saw reviewers found out it did not produce more amps than the 20amp version. If these work well i could purchase 2 more and run them all in parallel. I would be happy with 120amp of charging power, less generator run time. I also have solar but this is for backup purposes. Also have the added benefit have not having all those amps run through a single controller/line, easier to control heat.

I took another route to charge my 48 v bank(s) Costco had a special on a 6/12v sealed chargers so I bought a bunch of them to polish off two banks of 48v….while running my gen sets….I could not find a single 48v charger in my price point….plus the amp draw was too high for a small 3500w gen. These have led lights so you can see state of charge from a distance….

I was charging my 100AH LFP battery with a 20A charger that uses 9 stages. This battery has bluetooth and was watching the charging time left. Once the battery got to 99 percent charge the time left starting slowly increasing. Was this due to the dropping level of the Amp input? I was not for sure what was happen and stopped the charging. Why was time left for full charge increasing? I was using a HTRC smart charger 20A.

As the battery gets closer to full the charge current will drop because the cells won't accept a large current. At 99% you might as well say it's full. What little bit more it takes to reach 100% won't make much difference. It is good to charge to 100% occasionally for the cells to have time to balance. Just my opinion.

Just tried mine today, to run my 100 amp hour pro life battery from renogy. Seems the battery indicator stays on 20% does jump up/down. Where are the bottom indicator lights of the panel. I have not seen the battery 10min test Full indication. However seems like it's charging. Now to see if the over charger works, as I don't want to blow a 700$ battery. Over all I don't think it works right... Also will be hooking to solar. Any thought? Before I go the send it pain in the ass back route.

Okay newbie dork question buttttt I have two 12V 200Ah Lithium LiFePO4 Battery wired in series for 24V and the charger I currently own is a 7 stage impulse charger 12V 20Ah . So it's under powered by what I have read. I do have a Powermax 110V A/C inverter to 24V D/C 50Ah output. I don't think that will work because of the BMS unlike AGM batteries

If it's not designed to shut off when the battery gets around 14.4 or 14.6 volts then you would be taking a chance on damaging your batteries. You could use it in a pinch as long as you monitored it so it didn't go over voltage.

I think at the end of the charge the voltage peaks very quickly and with the display changing you don't see the final voltage and it says full. The battery quickly settles to a lower resting voltage. I have seen mine go to 28.8 volts and then before the next voltage display it says full. Just my thoughts on what may be happening.

When I run the battery down, it doesn't kick in automatically to top it up again. Anyone else having this problem? The whole idea was to have it plugged in, keeping my battery topped up as needed. It's not good to let a LiFePo4 battery set fully charged ( topped off ) for very long. That may be why they don't restart automatically.

The temp management is not great and I have 78F in my house now and the charger can run very hot around 45c and seem will limit the charging amperage by 25% in my case. I know it's to late, you prob sent the charger back to it's owner.. I'm wondering if you just left the charger on for 24h, that it would cycle thru it's many stages before completing the charge and then maintain mode. I don't know where did you get that statement that lead acid batteries would not be affected by an emp. Everything with to poles negative and positive would get affected, electrons flowing everywhere closing shorts, only the Faraday cage can save you, that's what the bunkers are for, they act as a Faraday cage, unfortunately, a thing only for rich, common people, well, we have to think harder if they what to screw humanity

Beware when your 24V battery wont charge when the auto sensing mode in this type of charger says fully charged in the 12V mode. These need a 12V or 24V manual switch. Very worthless while trying to charge a low voltage 24V battery. 😖
