Commented when it first came out. So I’m currently am shopping for a 24’. Test drove a base no option 10 speed today and loved it. Sales guy let me warm up the car and hammer on it. Definitely can see these things being pretty stout with some bolt ons and weight reduction. That 10 speed revved all the way to 7700 in paddle mode and kept pulling. The one I drove had 8 miles on it and was silver as well!!!! Think I’m giving up much with an MT82? Mainly do roll racing but I can bang gears pretty good. I’m here in Texas as well so DA is fantastic usually and with this fall air coming in I can’t wait.

The taller tires can often make it feel that way for sure.

Are you still on a stock shifter? Definitely could help along with maybe some suspension work..

Yes. The car goes about 2 tenths slower when no lift shifting unfortunately.

I had a 19’ GTPP2 with the MT82 and put 80,000+ miles on it and zero issues. I now have a 21’ GTPP1 with MT82 and zero issues. The negativity is overblown. Per the usual for the internet! Nothin wrong with this trans

The car sounds good and is moving great for a manual with no tune and minimal mods! 11s on the street is pretty damn good I think. The only people who talk bad about beadlocks on a NA car are dumbasses who don’t know much and would rather waste money. People would talk about mine as well and now I make a good amount of power

Even more! I did corbeau FX1 seats and the CM RSD the day I brought it home. I then did baer brakes and lighter wheels too. This 2024 is, for a fact, faster than my 2020 GT was. Also a fun fact, my 2020 that I mention often was the first MT82 D4 car to go 9s in the quarter mile at a drag strip, while others were "breaking them stock". I bought the car to prove it could go 9s on stock halfshafts and a drag radial, did it my first outing and then sold it. LOL. So I am not just talking out of my ass :)

Why are you trying so hard to convince people about this car? s650 isn't a bad car, it's right there with the s550 for the most part😂. The average person isn't going to do all this to their un-tunable car. Hopefully these s650's take to tuning as well as you're hyping them up to. Should be telling your future customers😂....to wait and see how things develop. No idea when tuning will be largely available or what tuning will consist of. Selling this car like your youtube channel depends on it

I have done some test with my 2017 GT 6R80 3.55 gear with bolt on,if I installed my 305/40/18Nitto 555R it will run 12.56 at 113.82, and if I switch to my street pirellie tire a 255/40/19 it will perform to a 12.36 at 115.86 mph. Your 28 inch tire are hurting you a bit 12.00 is good keep at it.

My crew cab f150 runs better times smh ford dropped the ball no wonder Lunds trashing it makes sense. My truck weighs 5K pounds as well smh

I’ll gap that thing lol sorry to break it to you but unless tuning is available which it won’t be for another couple years then you’ll be seeing nothing but truck taillights bud. I know cuz Lund told me that they won’t be able to tune it for a couple years so goodluck

@@MisterDragy I know how it works and I’m in tech. It’s going to be a minute before someone can fully unlock that computer. What set the 3rd gen apart is the fact tuning was available right out of the gate. Ford really messed up and all the true ford guys know it. It’s cool you got one, more than likely for content like all the other diiccc riders did. Nice car tho man! Can’t knock you for having a new car just don’t be like everyone else saying it’s just as good as the 3rd gen when it’s not close due to weight and tuning capabilities
