Calum is wildly well spoken and seems humbled by the adversity he’s faced. Crazy that the difference between jay and calum was essentially discipline.

I’m 33 now and started really getting into the whole bodybuilding back 6-7 years ago from this champion. I’m from Australia and was around his age and a wild boy😂 so I could relate. A lot . I’m so stoked his got his mind in the game again because I’ve been there before and it’s a hard place to get out off. Country all the way Aussie Aussie Aussie oh oh oh
That was an excellent interview. Calum is right. You do give the most back to the fans. You take time to chat with each fan that waited in line at the expos.

Great podcast. Really commend Calum for making himself vulnerable here and just giving a raw and unfiltered account of the past few years. So happy to see him in a good place now. Much love.

This resonated with me as someone who had 2 surgeries due to an out of gym accident and gave up on the gym because I knew I could never get back what I once had so felt there was no point. Only now that I have started exercising and working out again have I realized that you can still enjoy it with limitations and be the best version of yourself. The gym has also always been my escape.

Well said!
Calum is such a genuine nice guy and with huge potential back then and even now, it's so tragic hearing of his dark past. Sometime we just don't know why we do the things we do it's like self destruction. Wish him the best.
It’s like hearing my story all over again from 2010 . Going through the same drug addiction, to losing my little brother from suicide. Like Calum we were super close, and WAS IN the same dark head space after he passed. But talking about it helped in ways I never would have imagined, and the gym. The gym was my saving grace. That’s why I’ve always said Jay, and being apart of the team saved my life. I always say reach out to the ones you love, even if they seem fine. Don’t let that smile fool you.
Very proud of Calum, everyone has their dark times but not everyone has to go through it publicly. Glad to see him back in it.

It sounds like Calum has grown a lot through of all the hardship. But glad to see he is still here. Lot of us are invested and just want to see him happy. Great episode and great job to the boys for letting him speak his mind and not pressure on too much.
Absolutely fantastic interview. Its great to see Calum back and great that he's talking about his struggles and opening up. He's an absolute inspiration and an amazing redemption story.

I was never really a fan, and haven't even watched this yet, but I wish Calum all the best. We all know he's struggled badly, mentally and physically, and it's a long road back to admit your faults and be a better man. Good luck to him, I hope he's serious about doing the work.

Calum is such a genuine soul. So much devestation in his life. Family and also his pets that he lost..crazy. So happy for him.
Great interview, guys! I'll be honest, I went through an 8 year stretch of rough depression, and I drank a ton of alcohol in an attempt not to deal with it. I just hit 1 year sober right after my 34th birthday, and I feel amazing. I know it was hard for him to be vulnerable here, but I got a lot out of it, and it reminded me I'm headed in the right direction. Much respect for him sharing his story! Sorry for the loss of your brother... you and your family are in my prayers.

Man it takes alot of strength to talk about the dark.side of addiction with full transparency like this. Im in recovery and i wasted 10 years of my life over meth use and more and i can say that alot of us have put our selves in some messed up places of the addiction. This was a really good podcast i got alot out of this one.

It is absolutely insane the amount of progress someone can make when they are this genetically gifted in such a short amount of time. Dude put on 30 lbs of muscle back on in like 6 months.

Really proud of this dude staying sober when he was mourning the death of his brother. Shows he really learnt a lot about how to deal with his feelings from what he was going through before his brother death. Can't imagine what that pain is like to lose your bro at a young age. Good on you Callum keep being this person as long as you can brother! your bro would be proud of you.

I am 50. That said I obviously have Pumping Iron on dvd and have been motivated in one way or another by Arnold , then Jay. When Calum came along I was in late 30’s or maybe even 40. All of know is that the dudes pure heart and character motivated the fuck outta me . I am so sorry for his losses , especially his dog . However, I am so very happy to see him get through that and all the dark times and to be where he is now which is motivating again . Now other Tren Twins getting my old ass pumped to go train but Cals videos do as well . Man just so happy to see Cal back . Thanks Jay for all the motivation and for possibly leaving a mental message in Cals mind that kept him from going to far over the edge . God Bless all of you guys and your families . Nuthin but love 🤙🏽
