Loved it!! Are you able to sell the meat? Is there any leg bands from doing scientific research on the canada geese? Were you using lead shot? What about magazine plug restrictions? Have you ever hunted from a A Frame blind? If you have never hunted from one? You'll never hunt from a layout again. 42% increase in kills since we have hunted completely using A Frame blinds. FYI...no such thing as a canadian goose....canada geese or goose is the proper terminology. Keep up the good work boyz!

Thanks mate, unfortunately we can’t sell the meat but we can process as much as possible into salamis and mixed sausages. There used to be a few banded birds while they were still managed by fish and game but they no longer do these studies. We have laws that only allow us to have 5 round magazines in our Semi-Autos, Pre 2018 we could hunt with 8 round magazine extensions. Yes we use lead 46gr #2 shot as we’re over 200m/600ft away from water. I have hunted from A Frame blinds which do work well in most places but as these geese live and feed on these paddocks all year round we find a standing blind is enough to cause the birds to land in the surrounding paddocks, we only run with 50 odd full body decoys so lay down blinds suit the hunt better covering angles when shooting.
