It's really a shame you guys are going for the quick sale on all these items. 100 grand at an auction isn't a bad deal I guess. But if you had the time to find the right buyer for each piece from that collection, you are holding several hundred thousand dollars in my opinion...But it would take months to maybe years to unload it all. I'm not knocking Grimes, but some of those rugs and other one of a kind items should probably actually run through Sotheby's.

8:58 that look of the blade is done by welding several types of metal together, then forging and twisting to make the pattern. No two are exactly the same. It is called Damascus Steel.

Hi Pirate! I know Grimes and his team are working like maniacs to get this auction up. Just was wondering, what is the rush? Just a thought, but since there are so many items of many different categories, would it not make sense to do several auctions? One with native American stuff, one with fishing stuff, one with knives and so on. Seems like you could really make a lot more $$$ that way. Just saying...

Well, part of the issue is the Pirate wants a permanent residence for his family (son & daughter) and him and I believe this would take some pressure off him. He works non-stop. I do agree spreading this out a little bit will give people the opportunity to bid on multiple items and not restrict them to a few. I do hope Grimes auctions do go well. It is a lot of work going into this.

In all the storage tv shows your killer locker is by far the best one I have ever seen and I believe the most valuable one ever. I think when all this is said and done your going to be dumbfounded at what your going to go home with. I truly believe this. I am shooting a guess at about 500 thousand. Absolutely flat out mind blowing. Question for you, was this the only locker of this person or were there more then your 7 thousand dollar unit? All's I can say is holey moley pirate Mike as you so well deserve this..i am loving it all. Thank you for continuing to share the unveiling of this amazing locker. The Schrade 153UH hunter always used a synthetic material for the handle for the sake of uniformity and keeping costs down. They made A LOT of those since they were introduced back in the ...early 70's? Great knife though. I have three.

The phrobis III's sell on eBay for $150-$200 all day depending on condition. Awesome US military fixed blade bayonets.

Make sure and research that Gerber knife. The NON serrated Gerber Mark 2 can bring a hefty sum. I had one for decades floating around in my sock drawer that I found in an old VW Bug I bought from my Father in Law. He said I could keep it. I actually tried to sell it twice in 2 yard sales for 20 bucks. I'm glad it didn't sell. Years later when eBay came along, I put it up for auction and because mine dated to Vietnam and was the only year the sheath strap went across a certain way and had the original sharpener.... I was already thrilled it was up to 100 on the last day. I think I fainted a little when the snipers rapid fired it up to $750 with seconds to go. And I'm talking about 20 years ago. No telling what they are bringing now. I wasn't a collector then. Now I am and kinda wish I had it back. So, if you still think it's 100 dollar knife, shoot me a msg and I'll shoot you 100 bucks!

Not necessarily. It depends on the maker. And the market has been flooded with low quality damascus for the past 7 years or so. But it seems this guy had better taste than that.

The rugs with all the Fringe on the ends could antique Mexican rugs

Med size Navajo rug surprised you didn't mention more like Shiprock area? The floats Japanese used them clear up to late 1950's to 1960's. The one using hemp rope are worth more. Use to find them in Alaska.

I looked up that bayonet. I don't know what site you looked it up on. I looked at 4 different sites, highest 225, the rest I saw was between 119 to 199. The only one that came close was a brand new one called I believe was faded red it was selling at 400

At 9:45 i think it's an british military dagger/bayonet,and at 10:45 i think this is a kabar bayonet/knife Peace from Holland ✌️♥️

Lawrence fishing creels can go for hundreds of bucks, they are made in Oregon, check ebay completeds you'll see what I mean, the other one looks like just for show as it doesn't have a hole on it fer de fishy, but ya never know it might be something special! Happy hunting as usual! Cheers!
