I m sorry, but the way you pointed out The children as those adopted children is disgusting. When people adopt children, both sides are blessed. They are not those adopted children. They are their children, period!!! It is very ignorant to not understand or care that the children read and see the difference in how people see, and treat them. There are children in the world that have been adopted that will never feel the word adopted because they are truly loved. And that is how it should be regardless to race or culture. They are not less fortunate children , they are simply children. Your hidden message or hidden whatever is loud and clear!

I am affeended because your words will hurt adopted children. When there is a family, you love your children adopted or not , you love them as your own, and the children should feel that way. It Does not matter where one comes from in life, it's where your at. And I mean that spiritually. God loving humans do not see it the way you see it. They are children and they have loving parents. And to see how kind and caring they are shows how they already know and feel different. People like you don't need to remind them. And by the way, they are blessed because God has blessed them as he has done the entire family. Why is that you see them any different from any other child?! Your words mis the mark completely.

To the FAMILY: first, Amanda, you look so very beautiful! You glow with love and happiness. Something so rare to see these days. Watching Lincoln with the goose was adorable. Watching the kiddos smile and laugh was so precious. Again a rarity in the world anymore. Thank you for sharing this with us and letting us celebrate with you. I made a "tree of life wreath" they are gorgeous.. One of the beautiful things, it shows the "roots" .. Our family has a saying ( we have adopted several babies) "MANY roots grew ONE tree, OUR tree!!!" God chose to take roots from many to grow our mighty tree, not just 2 (hubby and self) and that also describes your family. Isn't it amazing what God can grow when we allow the seeds to be planted. I’m about an hour away from you! Currently catching up on your posts and I’m loving this road trip series! Watching the adoption videos for Jude, Liam, Penelope and Lincoln are so special. The love extended to each child is palpable and it always bring a smile to my face. I’m glad you got to spend time in Lake Tahoe! It’s one of my favorite places to be! It’s almost always stunning, summer (for lake activities) or winter (for skiing or snowboarding)! I enjoy North Lake Tahoe for the serenity if offers with everything needed close by. Thanks for bringing us along!
