Im almost at 11 weeks now its crazy watching yours because every week after 10 its like it goes "boom" i believe its the relief stage because i know we've all had the thought of "what if the grafts didn't work" "its fell out and its not going to come back" 😂

The AfterBurners are now at full throttle! Looking brilliant James, pleased for you amigo and looks like it’s worth the wait. I meant to say the “smiley face” in the donor area (that looks miles better) other than shock loss it could have been delayed recovery from the “painless anaesthesia” punches. I can’t remember if you had them but I’ve seen a number of examples from guys over the same period as your HT have some marks caused by that and have took a bit more time to clear up. Just a though but it looks like it’s on the way now. PS - You should have way more than 40 followers, one of the best active channels re this procedure.

Cheers chief! You were totally right about those burners firing up! We're cooking with gas now pal! 😅 I think you might be right about old smiley too! Again, just another concern that I will hopefully be chuckling about in another couple of months. I did have the painless punch gun thing so it could be that, but I'm quite comfortable that it's not over harvesting anymore! 👍 Thanks for your support, you're a great addition to this channels contributors. Quality over quantity with the subscribers here I think! 😉

There were 3 women that had the procedure at Elit when I was there. The bonus with women is that your donor site can easily be concealed, and you have hair to hide the transplant area if necessary! Win win!

OMG OMG OMG Is that the TARDIS I can see at the top of your garden. You look like you’ve come back from June 2009 👨‍🎤 I’ve started shredding fast this week (start of week 3) and looking half bald again 🥚Been honest and true I was worried last week on your progress as my expectations was not to where I wanted you to be,with my journey been identical to your week 1-3 I was worried it hadn’t worked that well for you and I would have the same problem. For me James the best video you’ve done. Yes you will get better every day now but mate you nailed it when you said on this update you keep catching yourself in the mirror! This is bigger than transplant day or any further progress because yesterday was the day that James stepped out of the TARDIS . ANYONE READING THIS I HAD NO yes that’s right NO CONCERN WITH MY RECEDING HAIRLINE fFROM ABOUT 25 TO 43 , NO DEPRESSION, NO UPSET, NO NOTHING! it was a random surf on KZread seeing this channel and a spontaneous thought that it would be fun to have hair again. Trust me the day them scabs come off and you see your new hairline in the mirror it gives you this new lease and buzz of life. My confidence level and positivity has changed even though I though I was at the top of my game. Don’t think about it do it today 🙏 James my advice is it not have any hair cut pal. You look so mint and I feel you may regret it. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. I’ve seen a few people doing this and it can knock you back to week 4 mentally. I would give it a month at least but that’s me. If you do go for it it will be a positive thing for us subscribers to learn from. But again my advice following you so close is you look mint and hold the style well so leave it 🤝

😂 you got me! I didn't really have a transplant! I'm an expert time traveller 😉 This week has just been phenomenal for progress, and I just hope it continues. I'm at the point where I'm almost laughing about my concerns of the surgery not working, but I've still got a way to go yet. When statistically 90% of patients shed up to 80% of their transplanted hair in the first 3 weeks, it's a miracle you kept it all this long dude! Still, I feel your pain and know it's a tough stage when you've had the sweet sweet taste of that feeling of confidence in a new hairline! Hang in there though man! Only 9 weeks until that second buzz starts to erupt through you and I can promise you it's better than the first time, because this time you know they're here to stay! ☺ May have to tame the narcissus in me because I can't help having a gaze in the mirror now! 😁 I won't be buzzing it all off, but I will be evening it out as the fly away hairs are super annoying, maybe grade 2, 6mm? Thanks for all your support though man, feels like we've been travelling this transplant road together and I appreciate the company! Onwards and upwards for us both! 👌

Did you find at all at this point that you had some small stubble that hadn’t fallen out, been there for weeks but wasn’t growing? Looked like the original implants that never fell out and come out very easily with tweezers?

loving the videos, results are great so far. Currently 7 days post FUE procedure also in Turkey. Can I ask how long was it when you got rid of all your scabs? I keep getting tiny bits of scab coming off and worrying that its actual graft but when I read up online it says there would be blood if it was grafts so should be ok.

Welcome to the worrying stage Andrew! It's a daunting phase where you're never sure if it's going right or wrong, and it plays on your mind big time! I removed my scabs on the 15th day as per my instructions, and even then I worried it was too soon, and I thought maybe i had pulled grafts out too! You'll have more crust than hovis on some days. It'll be on your pillows, in the tissues when you dry your hair etc. But if your body is healing then it sheds it quite quickly so try not to worry about it. When it does come to removal day I would suggest softening the scabs for a good few hours by soaking them with an oil. I used almond oil, but baby oil would do the same. You'll be surprised how much the scabs lift off themselves in the next 7-8 days anyway. Great question though dude! I will touch on some of this in my next update! ☺
