    I have a friend who was born and raised in London. He has lived in the US now for about 20 years. He tells me every time he visits family in the UK, they all make fun of his "American" accent. I do notice when he returns, his English accent was more pronounced for a month or so.

    Many diners only open for breakfast and or lunch and are closed the rest of the day. Best sunset I saw was a tad "morbid" There were massive wildfires generating a massive amount of smoke and the retreating sun made for an incredible array of colors, and the wind added some "brushstrokes" to the smoke for that wispy look.

    From a pointvuew of pure information the american dating system makes since when you tell someone the month first it tells you what to expect weather wise i have a scenario to explain why the month comes first is mote important i know its biased but here me out If you were on the phone with someone who has a phone that is about to die and have noway of getting ahold of you after this call and they are telling you they need you to pick them up on this date at this time if the phone died right after the first number if you used the universal way of telling a date all you would know is the day of the month there are 12 months with at least 28 days in each but if you used the american way the phones dies after the first number you would atleast know what month to pick them up and not guessing the month is more important to know first it the month weather wise tells you alot and breaks down better than guessing 1 out of 12 instead of 1 out of at least 28 im always long winded in these but a month gives you alot more information than the day of the month on a format basis information break down i think twlling the month is more valuable to know if you know your going somehwere but the date wasnt sure but if i tell you july it dosent matter what day in july its gonna be hot or December it dosent matter what day you know its gonna be cold month of the year means more than a specfic day in the month when weather is concerned and weather controls all of us prove me wrong 😂😂😂😂 argue for or against

    Speaking of restaurants in general, since Covid and the ensuing Biden "Build Back Better" of the US, the quality, service, etc. has gone waaay down in many a food joint. The prices are up, the food is crappier and smaller, and the wait staff acts like they would rather be playing XBox and smoking a doobie than giving you good service. That's a generalization, but thumbs up if you agree.

  • @CheddahSlammer

    @CheddahSlammer

    Its been like that before Covid, it also depends on were you go, some places are just shit others are not. Prices are generally based on were you go, if you get something cheap you going to get a small plate, but if your go some ware expensive you get a good meal. The only change i have seen in my area is Fast Food Joints are almost as expensive as chain restaurants now. For an example went to Wendy's got stuff for four people around 50$ mark. Went to Applebee's and it was 64$ for 4 people, with more and better food. Like I said though it probably depends on ware you are state wise, my state specifically has had raised Fast Food Prices, but Restaurant Prices have went down. Portions are the same since 10 years or so, and service is a 75% good, 25% bad.

    @@CheddahSlammer Yea for me, I work in a market and the prices have largely come down, besides a few items i noticed. No longer are the days when an 18 pack of eggs is $8-9 bucks. Inflation has mostly come down. What i have noticed was that a lot of mom and pop restaurants have closed down due to Covid. 2 of my favorite restaurants, a pizza shop and a Thai place shut down. And i dont know why people talk about portion size and crappy workers as if that just started happening. Portion sizes of certain items have always been getting smaller. And you'll always have a crappy worker who is lazy or doesn't want to work. I see them at my job all the time. Its one of the reasons we have high turnover.
