Definitely one of your top posts. Packed with a lot of great information. I will be saving this one for future referrals.

Regarding suits, blazers and sport coats: 1. I disagree that blazers and sport coats necessarily fit looser than suit jackets. All three are tailored garments, so they should fit exactly how you and your tailor agree they should. My sport coats all fit as closely as my suit jacket, because that style flatters me. 2. While sport coats *can* be made of heavier fabrics (like my tweed jacket), they can also be made of *lighter* fabrics (like my unlined, linen/wool sport coats). I agree, however, that they are usually intended to be less dressy … and that includes the choice of fabric. Regarding style avatars: It's important to choose someone who looks similar to you (skin tone, build, age). Even though I think very highly of Idris Elba's style, I might do better emulating Mads Mikkelsen or Colin Firth.

I had a bad experience with a tight undershirt. I looked good in the mirror, but felt bad inside. When I got home I quickly took off my clothes to find out why I was feeling so bad. Hat, jacket, shirt, pants, socks, then shoes. There I stood with my tight ass undershirt and boxer briefs on. As soon as I took that undershirt off, I felt cold but better at the same time.

You may already know this Jeffrey but just in case you don't here's a fun trivia question for you. The T shirt was in fact underwear. Marlon Brando wore his underwear out on the street in a movie (T shirt) and then EVERYone had to do it. It wasn't long before the T shirt became highly associated with rock music and it's broader culture.

For Oxfords I went with Navy, Light Blue, and Pale Pink as I believe they're a little more exciting than just plain white. Anyway I already have a White Dress shirt that is suitable for dressing up or down so I dont skip White completely. Thanks for the video as always Jeff.

I agree with Jeff for the following reasons: 1. Facial piercings tend to be extremely distracting. You want people staring at your face, not at a nose ring. 2. You run the risk of looking like an old guy who is desperately clinging to his youth. And that risk just increases as you keep getting older. 3. Facial piercings can be extremely limiting to your career. People will be less likely to see you as reliable, trustworthy, or professional. That doesn't matter for all career paths, but it *really matters* for some jobs.

'Classy' and 'nose ring' shouldn't even be in the same sentence, lol But if you think you can rock it and it fits your style, just go for it. When in doubt, and I assume you are because otherwise you wouldn't be asking the question, don't do it. Only wear it if you're 100% sure it looks good. Try it, then decide.
