And don't forget to leave your video ideas down in the comments below, we’re looking and we’ll give you a shout out in the video if we use it.

Which essentials damns them to mediocrity unless they have a complete All-Star like team made up of several pro-bowlers. The people of London are practically guaranteed not to care either, why would they? They always have a sport to follow with soccer (fùtbal) and the only real person that world actually care is Roger Goodell.

Walter Payton was a member of the ownership group that was trying to get the St. Louis Stallions into the NFL. After it fell apart the Denver Broncos changed their logo from a horse's head to a running horse. Payton accused the Broncos of stealing his group's logo. Crazy thing is when the deal for the expansion team in St. Louis fell thru, no one really knew what the team would have been called. I had a friend who work at a local sports merchandising company which had the contract for the Stallion apparel. When things didn't work out they were told to destroy all of the merch by the NFL. Of course, that didn't happen. And on rare occasions to this day, you'll see a random St. Louis Stallions jersey, t-shirt or ballcap.

San Antonio deserves a NFL francise. They have been trying to get one for years. They can't get one as long as Cowboys owner Jerry Jhones will block it. Because he's on the committee. Personally I think he's afraid the Cowboys will lose fans if San Antonio has a NFL team. It's crazy because since football is big in Texas it can defeantely support a third NFL team.

Toronto doesn't want football. Honestly, I think that I'd go to Montreal before Toronto. It's not an easy call since Montreal has had its own issues with supporting football, but Toronto had its chance to support NFL football with the Bills series and didn't. Their attendance is at the bottom of the CFL. But Montreal has a stadium that, with some modernization, could easily handle the NFL, and they seem to like football better. the story of how the Atlanta Falcons came about is interesting too. Both the NFL and AFL were actually in competition about which league would get Atlanta. Basically, the NFL kept turning down interested Atlanta parties in the 60's so the ATL turned to the AFL. the NFL got wind of it and changed their tune. Several teams wanted to move to ATL including The Broncos, Chiefs, and Cardinals and Chargers but couldn't for many reasons. After wine and dine, the mayor of Atlanta chose the NFL and Rankin Smith became the owner after a 9million dollar franchise fee.

They offered Sullivan a brand-new, football-only stadium. Sullivan said, "No." (He did not "threaten" to move to Birmingham. He only went there because of a scheduling conflict with the Red Sox.) Sullivan somehow managed to scrape his pennies together, and build the CHEAPEST permanent stadium ever: only $7 million. It had it's problems, but did have the best sightlines in the NFL. Every seat had a perfect view. Best of all, Sullivan paid for it himself. To this day, Boston is the only city in the U.S. in which all sports facilities are 100% privately financed.

I went to many games and concerts at what was later called Sullivan Stadium. Once they got the plumbing working it was great, as long as you remembered to bring a seat cushion. It could still be a reality. Remember, the original Charlotte Hornets moved to NOLA and became the New Orleans Hornets. A group of businessmen (including Michael Jordan) gets an expansion NBA team to Charlotte (Bobcats). Years later, including a stint in Oklahoma City (in the wake of Hurricane Katrina), the NOLA team becomes the New Orleans Pelicans and Michael Jordan gets the Hornets name and pre-NOLA history back; the Pelicans owning the NOLA/OKC history. As a "bonus", OKC now has the former SuperSonics (OKC Thunder). If the NBA brings a team back to Seattle, then either the SuperSonics or the Sea Lions would be appropriate. Thus the possibility that St. Louis can get an expansion team, and later the Arizona Cardinals can change owners and become the Arizona Firebirds -- the expansion St. Louis franchise becoming the Cardinals again.

As for the ticket, it will cost $6,000 for a single front row seat and what if they host a Super Bowl, that will make it impossibly expensive, hovering at $89,000 for the same single front row seat! That’s why NFL permanently will not award Honolulu an expansion team ever!

Unfortunately, the league went with Houston as the next expansion franchise and it would be at least another 15 years before the Rams announced they were moving back and that they would be building their own stadium.

Az Firebirds would have been a cool team/logo/colors... I always wanted an AZ pro football team (before the Cards) in the nfl... I used to come up with names and logos as a kid in the 70s and 80s... Names like Firebirds, Rattlers, Diamondbacks, Sidewinders, Scorpions, sting, Prospectors, Gold Miners etc etc... All my idea... Lol

As a lifelong Bears fan who moved to AZ in 1987 and former season ticket holder when the Cardinals played in Sun Devil Stadium, I really wish that they would have adopted the name and unique color scheme from the Rattlers. To me, the Rattlers have a way better name than the Cardinals and no nfl team has that copper, teal and black colors. Also, to me, the Rattlers goes great with the Diamondbacks and not the lameass Cardinals.

You can thank The Jacksons terrible "Victory Tour" for the reason that New England is still there and not in St. Louis. Chuck Sullivan, son of Pats Owner Billy, backed the tour which was a financial disaster. Some reports said Sullivan's losses where equal to his net worth. He put up Foxboro Stadium as financing for the tour. The team and the stadium would eventually have to be sold, eventually to Victor Kiam. A few years later team was sold to James Orthwein. The stadium fell into Bankruptcy and Kraft purchased it. Not allowing Orthwein to break the lease, he would use the stadium as leverage to but the Pats.

There were a few other major contenders for a franchise when Carolina and Jacksonville were ultimately picked. I remember besides the Hound Dogs, there was major lobby pushes for other teams supposedly to be for Alabama and I think Nebraska (or Oklahoma; hard to remember). I mainly remember the Alabama one because someone joked that the Crimson Tide wouldn't be too happy about having competition in spite of not even playing on the same day and having pro players take attention away from the school.

That's true, friend - from what I understand, there was a bill presented in the Canadian House of Commons, presented by the Health Minister at that time, Jean Chretien, known as the Canadian Football Act, which - had it passed - would have made it illegal to play any form of gridiron football other than Canadian football in the Dominion of Canada; as a result, John Bassett wound up moving the Northmen to Memphis, hence, the Memphis Southmen, alias the Grizzlies.

The problem is that you have to offer the tickets at a price that can be paid by the fans while paying the players the same salaries as US based players. Average ticket price to a Liga MX game is 500 pesos (~$26). Can a team be successful charging 1/5 the price of ticket and that doesn't even start to get into luxury boxes.

I gotta agree. London seems absolutely ridiculous. All the travel for everyone involved and the time difference is just too much. Just keep it how it is. So teams and their families can visit the UK from time to time. The tourist shine will wear off fast if there’s a permanent team there. And Mexico City is a hell of a lot further away than a lot of people realize. And Canadian teams in the NFL is a goofy idea too. Especially in Toronto and Vancouver. They have the Bills and Seahawks already.
