I trained 3 Phantoms to 200 the only thing that kept me going was because he's one of my all time favourite characters...

From a personal experience, leveling my Evan up to 200 was rough.

Mercedes was my most recent burn and now that i started a Lara and around 18x not burning and im too lazy to level without burning its safe to say leveling any other characters burning or not is going to be a nightmare

Who else remembers when u could just stack all auras on BaM and spam BKB... Good old LHC grind days

My fingers are killing me and I'm only at 100 on Cadena but I gave up on Phantom when I had to find skills lol

I was curious to see if night lord would be here. I recently got it to 200 for it's legion upgrade, but god damn that was harder than normal. I had this stack of 3k purple pots to just use on my alts, and night lord alone after several classes from 140 to 200, when I had about 2.3k potions left. It took about 2k potions. and I died so much still.

Demon avenger was a pain. Used a burninator on him and growth pots to 210. No way i'm actually grinding him to 210 manually. :o

Tried leveling a dawn warrior and gave up somewhere in the 80s. Man that was a rough grind. Leveled a shade and a battle mage back in the day when they came out, but never on reboot. May do shade again some day

As a loving Kinesis main, I'm genuinely surprised not to see Kinesis here! All I hear from people around me is how bad the class is, and I've built an idea in my mind that a lot find it difficult. and I admit it is kinda difficult pre-5th job but I also think it is unfortunate that many do not seem to get it far enough to feel the surge of psychic shockwave 😫🥲 Anyway great video as always :)

Even though leveling to 5th job isn't much of a pain if you use boosts or burning, people should not have to get to the 5th job just for a class to become good. It's a gripe I have with Battle Mage as well. If you can't make a class fun or enjoyable in the first 4 jobs worth of skills, you're doing something wrong Nexon.

As much as DA get understandably dissed for sucking, I do love em. Shield chasing, very mobile thanks to up jump and glide and a pretty quick cooldown full screen atk once you get thousand swords. Yes the attack aoe sucks though (Admittedly the hp only gimmick was what drew me in in the first place.)

I love plaing DA, Tanky, Sustain and best of all. Cant touch this button, F insta kill. had his health over 200k and my god no boss can even do any real challenge both touch and magic damage.

It honestly doesn’t, 50 percent is not nearly enough to help a class with low hp survive, they should be just given her magic guard

Funnily enough, Shade was my first class to 200. It's not so much clunky as it is tempo focused. There's definitely a rhythm to Shade's movement and skills and once you figure that out it's easy leveling and grinding. You don't really need any kind of attack speed buffs or anything.

Interesting to include Battle Mage, Wild Hunter, and Mechanic, but not include Blaster for the all-Resistance set bonus on your video stats! Mobbing with that class is a choice between maintaining good rates or maintaining wrist health...

I must be crazy then, I leveled an explorer warrior to 200 few days ago and the next character I really want to play is Night Lord...

There Is just something with some of the resistance classes and the hero classes. Battlemage, Wild hunter, Mechanic, Mercedes, Phantom, EVAN PRE 4TH JOB. They just STRUGGLE. Are they maybe showing their age? These classes are anything but new at this point, and I'm not sure if they've received a notable amount of work since their releases.

Funny, I've never had problems leveling battle mages or wild hunters or marksman. But I agree, mercedes and mechanic was an absolute headache. I had extreme ball ache getting my illium up to even 150...I simply hate that class and it'll be a nightmare to level it to 200.

I know this is an old video but i had tons of fun leveling Battle mage. Though could be that i liked how the skills looked so it was just me having fun xD

There's an chrome extension that restores youtube likes, also, you should be able to still see any dislikes in your youtube studio tab.

I find battlemage to be fun and suprisingly easy to level. I admit. 1st job made me want to shoot my computer. 2nd job quests carried me. dark chain made things better. 3rd Job things felt like they started to come together and by 90. I found the leveling easy. at 4th after hitting 140 it starts feeling mage like. 18s DG. 12s Sweep Staff. feels like outside of those two moves as long as you can Two shot with a blow telecast. the reaper does everything, you just gotta line it up.

Hi what does reboot mean?

I find the jobs that need to use a lot of MP more difficult, especially when money is required.

For some reason I have 0 problem leveling Phantom to level 200 without burning. I just use its attack & move skill? I forgot what isit called. The 4th job skill and I reach level 200

Majority of these hard to grind classes have really nice legion/link effects…

i had a easy time with mercedes. lara right now is a class im struggling with. before the changes to mech i had an easy now yea im stuck at like 16x

Really feeling that Mercedes grind right now the last 30 levels to 200 are so slow without any link skills T-T

My main is a Phantom, close to 200 and it is super rough. Needs a pretty big buff to be honest. Struggling with the Burning Steps Dojo trying to kill Von Leon. Literally just don't have enough damage output and half our skills have very little range.

I really hope phantom gets a bit of a revamp, just lemme flash jump while using tempest pls ;-;

@@Keyosu2 Why simply because I love Phantom, of course. Also because I love to test lower level Phantom things, it helps me give advice to people hopeful to main the class or people simply making 210 mules, or even just people who want to try out the class as well, and is generally just fun to me.

Man... as an OG Hero main, I can feel some of that. Of course, my solution was to use an old Assassin trick and jump attack while constantly moving towards the enemies. Either using their double jump or just Rush to gather mobs on flat surfaces, you just want to always press forward with Heroes. I mean sure, you're going to get hit, but Heroes boast one of the highest base HPs of all Explorer Warriors without buff, can get a little healing while fighting and, like Coppersan mentioned, hit like a freight train. If you have a pet following you with auto-potion, you're pretty much unstoppable. But, in order to grind effectively as a Hero, you need to remember your beginnings and be a Fighter - go in hard and be relentless.

Reboot if you don't plan to P2W. It's also the least dead server.

I had to made the switch to reboot and while I do prefer it now, it's important to keep in mind that while it is less 'p2w', I find it very unfriendly towards casual players. The progression rate is *rough* especially if you just start out. It's also far more time consuming than Luna. I never gotten past 210 in Luna to feel the P2W aspect. I just didn't have enough mesos all the time lmao. So it all depends how many hours you're willing to sink into it.

who the hell main's shade? O.o

How is Night Walker not on the list? It is a pure nightmare

Back when I played maple, I mained a FP mage. Definitely was not a class you can just spam a single skill with.

My trouble class will always be DK. Their 3rd job skills always and will kill the fun for me.

BUccaneer pre-big bang to 200. I wear that achievement like a badge of honor.

Personal experience, I got marksman 1 - 200 in 5 hours which in my opinion is good. I did fund her a little (everything 6% epic) and i have 4k legion, 12 links etc

i agree, marksman is pretty easy to level non-reboot the 3rd job mobbing skill is pretty decent if you can 1hko shade is pretty amazing if you could 1hko too

noob question, but how can you fund a character on reboot? isnt trading disabled? and almost everything is untradeable so you cant put it in storage?

Of all the classes that start with M, I'm surprised Mevan isn't on this list 😏 (the M stands for Mir)

Copper, I usually agree with what you say but... were you tryting to be controversial here? I wish I knew how you train because IMO Illium (pre100) is a hell I won't go though again but you put it as one of the fastest (if 100-200 I guess it makes sense if fast) but then you put Dual blader here? They level SO FAST (2stronk m8), merc is not that bad (compared to Demon Avenger) and where is Night Walker? NW is horrible. Maybe I'm just dumb at training and do something backwards. Also, can I suggest a video of names people use for their secondary chars? Everyone has a theme that repeats on the names.

i like battlemage but i feel like this class needs a revamp or something u never see a BaM

Leveling is absolutely terrible. You expect to get a good mobbing skill in 2nd job... Nothing. You expect it in 3rd job... More bashing with the stick. When you are about to change to 4th job you are basically at the "OK there better be a good mobbing skill in this job advancement or I'm done" stage, and guess what? You bash a little harder. So you park BaM and never play it again. Maybe log on to exp boost it for links/legion, but that's it. If they could fix the first 4 jobs more players might make it to 200+.

I got almost al my characters to lvl 200 night walker is the one class I gave up on when reaching lvl 180

When was that? I got mine to 200 after the bat damage was buffed and it wasn't that bad.

First? I definitely hated getting my Shad to 200, and compared to DBs, it just doesn't feel worth it. They kind of keep getting the short end of the stick.

I think hero is hard to level up in reboot. What the hell on his skill range….. His hyper skill can add the range for 30sec but have the long cooldown(150sec) Looking forward to the revamp!!!!!!

Never found a phantom hard to level even on Reboot, ya just go around any flat map and suck up the mobs with their 2 hurricane skills

My personal opinion as a Hero main is if your damage is high enough to 1-hit mobs, you only need to understand the skill mechanics and map well enough to farm efficiently. I never found the Hero class to be difficult to train. But the rest of the classes mentioned are indeed difficult.

Hated hero getting to 200. So weak training without Cry Valahalla on and using Raging blow was miserable. Literally sat at 18x for 4 months without being trained

Heros are so difficult to level. They really really need to increase range, and the hyper skill doesn't make any sense with its aim box

I hated Hero until 120 or so. Before that it was miserable.

Marksman felt great to be honest, just have to adjust your choice of maps slightly and its great. 1st job isnt relevant, 2nd job is mediocre, 3rd job feels nice though it lacks damage, 4th job honestly I had a blast. But thats on reboot, always felt like marksman was a bulky heavy hitter so its probably not great for low health maps

i disagree with shadower , i though shadower was unfairly easily to level , the fact that their main mob skill has such high % dmg and final dmg makes it easy to one shot even at higher level mobs , once you get shadow veil its game over that skill is the best map skill imo.

wait piercing arrow was worse in the past???? :fuming: I am burning the character and I just hated everything about the class lmao to the point I thought I was just burned out and need another break then lara appeared and I am already 215 LOL

Kaiser and Hero were the worst classes i ever got to 200

Recistance classes are like damien. They sck balls lol. Although i love my 223 battle mage.

3:55 wtf what mechanic does at this list? xDDD literally the easiest char to make 140lv legion/link char i made it in like 2 and half hours just pressing missiles xD be srlsly

For me the toughest were Mercedes, Marksman, Night Lord and Bishop. Man 3rd job bishop is so slow Btw I'm not 8k legion yet, 6.5k so far and have about 13-14 level 200+ already filled up the 40 max so I'll have to replace some with tera burn or push for 200 with some including those 4 😭

Paladin was rough. Our main mobbing skill is a bonk with short range. Burned to 150 and then had to slog my way to 200

Buccaneer sucked ass for me in reboot with no gear, I just used level up potions.

tbh phantom and nightlord isn't really that hard to lvl up. in fact the difficulty for any char is getting to 17x. once u hit 17x and get access to kritias u'll hit lvl 200 in a blink of an eye. had mobs in kritias not been nerfed it would even be possible train at kritias until 21x minimum. with my nightlord i'm pretty much 2 shotting seeping mobs with showdown with barely any range at 197 so it definitely can be done. of course since i'm on maplesea it could be completely different from what it is over in gms with reboot and all.

Mercedez and phantom are deff a pain, do not recommend
