    thats what the dude from Jeromes Dream did. never used a mic once when performing live, he would just scream at the top of his lungs while voiding the fuckin warranty on his bass. ended up coughing up blood after almost every show and permanently damaging his voice.

I've been to festivals all over Europe, THEY kick ass and have decent, 'A' list, headliners for three days in a row. That was one of the most blatant and miserable cash grabs I've seen from the US industry, and I've seen a shitload of them. A rehashed Woodstock wannabe for kiddies. Americans don't know a good music festival from a good bake sale. They haven't never had the chance to since 1969.

  • @camerondodge2070

    @camerondodge2070

    3 жыл бұрын

    @No One It was a metaphor, that's not really the title. The new LB album is supposed to be called "Stampede Of The Disco Elephants". They released a single in 2012, "Lightz (City of Angels)", and it was a very different sound. Like what Linkin Park did with one more light, except not as good. In April 2013 they released the second single "Ready to Go", a song featuring Lil Wayne that sounds sort of like their heyday. That same year, but in November, the third single came, "Thieves", a cover of the song by Ministry, and on that they go all out metal. Then, finally, came the fourth single in 2014, "Endess Slaughter", and it's odd but good. I can't describe the genre, it actually switches genre throughout the song, going through three or four before the end. Then after that everything just stopped. See, most of it appears to be done, music wise st least. Wes Borland has stated that he wishes they could just put it out, but Fred's become a bit of a perfectionist. To quote Borland, Fred's method is to "keep working on something till he’s happy with it, even if it takes years and years". There's actually been some uncertainty about whether the album will ever come out. So, it really is Chinese Democracy 2. And it sucks, because "Thieves" and "Endless Slaughter" sound amazing, top tier Bizkit. Also, I was joking about his career being over, I like LB.

    I bet it was alot of fun watching Elvis live(i was born in 92, and with parents that aren't fans of old & great performes like him). And i bet he was a kind & loving person off-stage. Why do the great Always die too early?

    To be fair, Bon Jovi's mic might have been working, just not in the overheads, i.e. it could have been working just fine in his in ears.

    +Stephen Vickers That's what I was thinking. Everyone is using in ears, so the they were probably working just fine. I have friends that use them and they can't hear anything outside of the in ears.

    +Stephen Vickers He responded to that in an old interview. He kept going, assuming his crew would get it fixed. That's what professionals do, they don't stomp around the stage throwing microphones and pissing themselves. I've worked with crews that will swap a voice coil out in a 4x4 bass cabinet, onstage, during a show.

    +ozmedia Exactly, I can't stand when I see people like Axl, throwing things. Professionals or anyone for that matter should make a mockery out of it and make it funny rather than being a child about it.
