Really glad you made a video on this - surprisingly not a lot of video documentation of this shoe considering how well liked it is! Probably top 3 in the shoes that I own currently; it's so incredibly versatile!

Thanks Martin! I tried on the red colorway at l‘éclaireur but they didnt have my size. So def the red one and/or the dark grey/burgundy. Which one is your fav from ss.20..?

Watched this video before and never really thought I would drop the $$$$. Finally grabbed a pair from Bodega on this current extra 30 off. Paid 319 for the gtx in this color

I have the same pair in the same colorway and I love them. Comfortable and beautiful, works for all kinds of weathers. The patina grey color is one of the best colors in my opinion. With that said, my Bambas have become quite dirty from the fall and winter here in Sweden. I wipe them off once in a while, but with all the detailing they're not very easy to clean, and I think the faux-leather(?) strip on top of the toes is the trickiest part to keep slick. May I ask how you keep your shoes clean? Any tips?

Nice! Agree, this colorway is also one of my favs! With regards to cleaning: I also just wipe them with a wet towel.. usually does the job but tbh I havent gotten them ultra dirty yet..

Great overview! How’s sizing, TTS? Others are saying go a half to full size up due to how tight the upper is. Thoughts?

Depends on where you’re coming from I guess. I wear half a size smaller than I do in Nikes but like one full size up compared to Rick or CCP for example.

Hey man. So we literally have the exact same style in literally every way. In saying that, I'm struggling to find a good deal on a pair of these and was wondering if you could possibly provide a site or some places to check out? Grailed is kind of a bust, ssense is having a nice sale but only the black pair is on sale and I want this colorway or a similar colorway. Basically just hoping you could help a brother out. Thanks. Love the vids!!

Hi man, in my other video on my other Bamba 2 I give a couple of shop recommendations. Really depends on where you are though bc of import duties. I mostly know European shops. Check out sivasdescalzo, ujng and darklands.x 🤘🏽

I know that UJNG and l’Eclaireur already has some in stock. The other will probably get them in the next couple of weeks

Mmm, look don't get me wrong I do like this collab a lot and I do own a pair of these Bamba 2s, BUT I was slightly underwealmed with the build, personally I don't think it's 'kinda awesome' that a hightop looking sneaker actually feels like a low running shoe when you're wearing it, the upper sheath feels like a cheap gimmick and they are fiddly to put on tbh, doesn't feel finished enough for the price. The unique colour ways are the coolest thing about these shoes imo, style over function, but due to the flimsy upper sheath they don't really hold their profile ether so can look kind of meh around the ankle when they crumple. I prefer other Salomon shoes for quality.

Do they fit true to size?

No they fit small. At least one size, probably even two. Very similar to Nike sizing imo

Its a Ski running shoe redesign for a normal walk.. Wierd but for those money, i rather buy an old car or another electric longboard.

Just buy regular salomon function shoes, much cheaper, these are for the added aesthetic and handcraft, if you appreciate them
