When it comes to body odour its all bout your diet. Change your diet, reduce sugar and meat. More water, leafy greens and natural sugar, ->fruits. Exercise as well to release toxins. Some people sweat excessively because of anxiety and stress. Whatever that is causing that to happen, eliminate that person, place or thing. Worked for me. Awesome tips Andrea!

Because my doc said I. Have hyperhydrosis and it makes my body sweet When it doesn't need to so basically my body is like a sweat factory

Commercial deodorants never seem to work on me and only causes my skin to become darker, leaves a sticky feeling, doesn't always get rid of the smell AND leaves stains. That's why I only use coconut oil and baking soda now and NEVER HAVE I EVER had a moment where I smelled bad or smelled like anything at all, it was amazing! And I think it kinda lessens the sweat too. But I don't mix it like how she did with the cornstarch. I just swipe the coconut oil first then dab the baking soda on top. I feel like rubbing the baking soda even mixed with the coconut oil will just be too harsh on my skin and darken it. I hope this helps whoever is struggling with looking for the right deodorant for y'all

I don't know about excessive sweating because I don't sweat that much but it did minimize it and it really does vanish my body odor. It wouldn't hurt if you try. It may work on you and it may not, its different with different people. Either way you wont loose anything

Your under arms doesn't get darker from deoderant. It gets darker from shaving it, because of the skin getting activitated in a specific way from the blade, causing it to darken :)

My favorite kind of deodorant is the one made of the blood of the people who said I stinked out loud

Men's Old Spice in the Amber scent works great for me and doesn't smell 'manly', to me anyways.

Lavender essential oil works the best for me! Try to mix it with your homemade natural deodorant. The smell of coconut oil mixed well with the lavender, worth to try

Degree works really well. I hate secret, suave or dove they just smell good.

Hand sanitizer works really well if you need it in a pinch if you smell under your arms. Most girls have hand sanitizer in their bags!

I'm a hand sanitizer girl myself. It works so well i even use it everyday before i get in the shower to make sure i kill all the bacteria. If you go camping, hand sanitizet will help you a lot.

Get "certain dry "you can buy it from Walmart or any convenience store, it last for 3 days, must be used before going to bed. or get sweat pads, i order them in bulk from Amazon.i use it for emergency when I forget to apply certain dry at bedtime.

+havana reyes I used to have this problem for years, but now I use those overnight blocking antipersirants (I don't know how to say it in English, it's not my first language)- they are kind of strong deodorants which you use not more often than 2-3 times a week at night before you go to bed (and you wash it off it in the morning and then apply your regular deodorant as usual) and it literally saved my life, I don't sweat anymore! And there are many different companies that make them

I like to use ^^ the same ingredients for my natural deodorant. I have been adding clay powder or zinc oxide to it in the summer months, it makes it stronger! A few drops of grapefruit essential oil or tea tree oil gives it a fresh fragrance 😃

Dove sensitive is the best, Have been wearing it for years.

The DOVE deodorant. Is my all time favorite, I use the pomegranate scent. I love this deodorant soo much!

I like to use Toms natural deodorant, or the Secret wind-up deodorant that she was using. But sometimes they don't fully keep the stink away, so I'll DEFINITELY try the coconut oil deodorant!! Thanks so much Andrea!!

For those of you who use, or want to use natural deodorants Schmidt's natural deodorant (personally I use bergamot and lime) is a wonderful brand, I smell horrible when I sweat (it was so gross ew) and I had to use prescription strength to keep from smelling, however I did a little studying and found that some ingredients in most deodorants (yes, even some of the ones that say "natural") can cause breast cancer. Which means I went through brand after brand of deodorant until finally I found a natural one (that doesn't cause cancer) and is safe to use on my sensitive skin. Y'all should definitely check it out.

Rukia Cross schmidt's deodorants are the best. I can't use regular deodorants they make me smell so bad schmidt's is the only one so far that works for me. Also ever since I went vegetarian I rarely use deodorant so I don't really stink anymore

Old spice Krakengard antiperspirant smells soooo good and works really well on me. Boys, or girls, try this out, I fell in love with this smell (white stick of deodorant, not blue).

Thanks for this! I live in S Fla and it gets toasty. I take 2 showers daily, switch out everything (even bras) daily, and use vinegar in the wash, all to keep bacteria in check. It still seems like my bras and the seams in the underarms of my shirts hold the smell. It’s apparently not bad enough for others to notice yet, but I don’t want them all ruined. 😕

@Andreas, also, adding to my last comment, women do not generally have excessive BO, if they do one can assume too much garlic. A mixture of half baking soda and half hydrogen peroxide mix under arms will kill sulfur compounds. This is the same mixture to get rid of skunk spray, which is also a sulfur compound...

Here is a hack for stinky feet/shoes. I am a dude, and I've been using this hack for years now, works with 100% efficiency. What ever deodorant you use on your armpits, buy one more pack for your feet. Label both so you know which one is which. Use your feet deo when ever you use your armpit deo. Problem solved forever! Thumb up!

gr8 video. adding a few things I think might help others- I don't use deodorant sticks because I have sensitive skin. I normally rely on pure soaps made of essential oils that smell heavenly, or like a mild scented lemongrass shower gel. Sometimes I will use baby powder or talc esp during sweaty summer days and that is usually enough. Also for women who have long hair, a nice scented shampoo can really mask smells so just open your hair at the end of the day and twirl it about, and you'll smell like the shampoo you used in the morning. :)

thanks for this very helpful video. the baking soda mixture works very well for me but unfortunately it started to burn my skin even with low doses. i struggle with finding a deodorant that works all day for me so i have to reapply once or twice a day. lavender works and also rubbing fresh lemon on your pits help.

Arms & Hammer Ultra Max Fresh (yellow exterior and "Fresh" is on a green line on the front lable) Try that one from Wal-Mart, it is about $2 for one or $3.20 for a two pack. It is a bar (not gel) so it really helps for an all day dry feeling, not to mention that it doesn't matter how much you sweat, it will protect you the whole day.

For the shoes, if you don't have cat litter, you can also use backing soda or tea bags(:

milk of magnesium with tea tree oil I make my own but you can buy an already made one. you may need to start moisturizing there because it very drying but works. Also, I've never tried it but maybe lume?

i like secret completely fresh deodorant but i have been using the natural deodorant you mentioned in this video for a couple weeks and it works really well!!

you have awesome ideas. particularly liked "cleaning hacks for lazy people' Keep doin' your thing, girl, you are a star.

I use "Method" body wash in a fresh rainy scent & Tom's of Maine deodorant. Both are cruelty free and smell great. Animals like rabbits, primates, and even dogs get tested on every single day. They are locked in cages all day. Experimenters force-feed chemicals to animals, conduct repeated surgeries on them, implant wires in their brains, crush their spines, and much more. You may think you can't do anything to change the world but it starts by doing the small things, like using cruelty free products. It's a pattern in life. I love that you mentioned this!! Another great cruelty free brand is Lavanila, which is my personal favorite and can be found at Sephora. Pacifica is another one that has deodorant wipes. Those are sold at Target and Ulta :)

The Dove for Men deodorant is great. Men's deodorant just tends to work better in my opinion. I like the Dove Clean Comfort one specifically because it doesn't really smell like anything because a lot of deodorants hit everyone around you with a punch of sent every time you lift your arms.

Great video!! My favorite deodorant is Degree. I find it better then Secret bc secret tends to gunk up but Degree stays smooth, and even works into the next day.

Weird but, I use old spice LOL. I dunno, I find it works for me maybe even better than women's. I've tried Fiji and Wolfthorne 😁

Any "Avon" roll on deodorant the night before, works for me. The "on duty" one works the best. your skin absorbs it better than clinical ones from the store. My husband used it cuz he ran out of his right guard and liked it. He has a job that makes him real sweaty. The scent can be used by men or women. I've noticed over time that the thick white deodorants don't absorb in. It just rubs off onto your clothes. I have also noticed that when I put lotion on, not to forget my pits. I've noticed less stench now that I'm moisturizing my pits. Don't quite understand the chemistry behind it, but it's working.

My favorite deodorant is the clear gel secret ooh-la-la lavender. Because the solid (I noticed) sticks to your skin and when you go to take your next shower, there is a build up of sticky residue and it takes 2 major showers to scrub it smooth.

i use Dove

for me the best deodorant is dove, soothing chamomile it can last for 48 hrs. I always buy dove products though.

Thank you Andrea for the odor hacks! me personally I use the Milcu roll-on deo (Unscented) or MILCU Underarm & Foot Deodorant Powder. Tawas or alum (common English name) is also good to eliminate bad odor :)

I actually use Old Spice's Bearglove. It doesn't smell like a typical musky man deo, AND, most importantly, *IT DOESN'T STAIN MY CLOTHES!!!* I can't find a woman's deodorant that doesn't stain, even if it advertises as non staining. Plus, Old Spice stays strong the whole day.

The best antiperspirant I ever used is Secrets clear water lily one. It doesn’t leave stains and I can use it right out of the shower. Antiperspirant and deodorant are different though. You have to get antiperspirant if you want to really avoid smelling.
