Jordan Neely's own uncle admitted that he was self-medicating with K2 at the time of his death: K2 is one name for a group of synthetic cannabinoids. These drugs are human-made, mind-altering chemicals. Dangerous effects of K2 can include a high heart rate, vomiting, violent behavior, suicidal thoughts, high blood pressure, confusion, and chest pain. It is also possible to experience K2 toxicity or overdose on the drug. In rare instances, taking K2 can be life threatening.

NYC is one of the best examples of bloated, convoluted government, and remember government contributes nothing to the state and country. NYC sanitation has their own fleet of tow trucks, so does the NYPD, so does the FDNY, so does a few other city agencies. Just the elimination of that equipment and contracting with private tow companies would save tens of millions in salary, equipment, and maintenance(just for the tow trucks) Those private companies would then create jobs, that the greedy city and state can tax.

From Wiki: Jordan Neely was a 30-year-old African-American man. He grew up in Bayonne, New Jersey.[29] In 2007, when Neely was 14 years old, his mother was murdered by a man with whom she had been in an abusive relationship. Her body was found in a suitcase on the side of the Henry Hudson Parkway. Neely was called to testify at the trial.[30][31] According to his aunt, he developed depression, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder after the murder of his mother.[32] Neely was placed in foster care as a youth.[29] Neely posing at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station in 2011 In 2009, Neely was a locally-known Michael Jackson impersonator, performing in Times Square, on subways, and in subway stations.[29][32][33] He was reputed to be a talented dancer.[34] Neely struggled with homelessness; he had been a client of the Bowery Residents' Committee, which attempted to find him permanent shelter.[29][35] At the time of his death, Neely was on the "Top 50 List", a roster maintained by New York City of the homeless individuals most in need of assistance and treatment. Specialized outreach teams had contacted him hundreds of times, and he was a client of one of the city-funded Intensive Mobile Treatment teams, which have a staff-to-client ratio of 1:3 and an annualized cost of more than $40,000 per client.[36][37] Neely heavily used the powerful and unpredictable synthetic marijuana K2.[36] According to a law-enforcement official, Neely had been arrested 42 times by NYPD; many of the arrests were for minor violations, but three were for unprovoked assaults on women in the NYC subway.[38][39] At the time of his death, he was subject to a 15-month alternative to incarceration program after pleading guilty in February 2023 to felony assault of a 67-year-old woman, whom he punched as she exited a train station in November 2021, breaking her nose and fracturing an orbital bone. Under the terms of the program, Neely was to live in a treatment facility in the Bronx. He had a warrant issued for his arrest after he missed a court date to update a judge on his progress and abandoned the treatment facility 13 days after he started the program.[40][41][36] In March 2023, Neely was spotted and taken to a homeless shelter by an outreach worker, who described him as calm and subdued. His last interaction with law enforcement was on April 9, 2023; outreach workers called police after witnessing Neely urinating inside a subway car, and he was ejected from the train.[36] Five days later, an outreach worker spotted Neely in Coney Island, and noted him as aggressive and incoherent, writing that "He could be a harm to others or himself if left untreated.

Throw them in jail for 18 months. Make them pay for the costs and all damages.
These ppl don’t even want a fair trial.. they just going to keep crying and acting like animals until they get what they want .. this is not how it works
I want them to have that same energy if someone else dies on MTA grounds by another individual!!!!!! Bunch of hypocrites
Yes arrest all of them and lock them all up and throw away the keys
If only the judges or the criminal system didn't let Neely out of prison after those arrests then none of this would've happened
Are those people enjoying happy hour or nobody works? Maybe they are working. I’m confuse right now.
The ex-Marine is a hero for taking on someone menacing people on the subway. A lot those crazies on the subway are armed with knives or guns.

That's right ! Don't arrest a murderer but do arrest the protesters .. Very brave and just, isn't it ?
I feel bad for the cops dealing with these idiots.
What ever happened to peaceful protests?
Just heard about this, so ppl are upset that a repeating criminal got choked out and died? I don’t get it isn’t that a good thing?
I’m still waiting for the protest? For the innocent kids who get killed in this city .. and country!
Yes arrest these crazies neely tried snatching a 7 year old there crazier then he was
where are these protestors when innocent people get assaulted or killed in the subways by these criminals?

Doesn’t fit their narrative
Ridiculous. If the man who did the choke hold was black, This wouldn't be happening
These protestors should form vigilante groups to patrol all subways to protect mentally ill and criminals from the general public.
Protest for a criminal.

If the public goes and stands with police to increase their numbers will they be arrested as well?
i love americans they literally fight for their rights,in england people are scared
Meanwhile insurance companies are looking for ways to get out of policies held by sneaker stores.
The fact that someone said you’re going to kill him, you’re going to catch a murder charge, on top of the Eric Gardner incident that Marine should have let his neck go immediately! There were 3 men restraining him, they could have held him without harming him. This is an unfortunate incident. Let God be Judge and Jury alone, He’s on the throne, He sees the heart and intentions, we don’t.

Neely was a thug and a menace to society. I salute the Marine for his service
Time for the billy clubs to swing and the tear gas to fly
These crazies love any excuse to get out and cause problems. They don’t really care about Jordan Neely or the many people he has attacked/threatened before his card was punched. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Make criminals scared again!!
Who cares atleast the thug won't be a burden on innocent citizens anymore. World's a better place.
Don't you have the video when he punches that old lady in the face?
Some of these people seem about as educated and intelligent as Beetlejuice.. maybe they just don't know what lynching means..
So they're pretty much like kids, they wont stop until they get their way.

Sick city
Where are the protests over the death of Police Officer Areanah Preston who didn't have a long rap sheet but instead tried to uphold laws and keep her community safe?
If Daniel Penny were black they wouldn't protest.
Lock them all up!
Where were these people when he was begging for money and food? If these prptesters would give him food he would not go to the train and threaten people and his death would be prevented.
