Great video as always. I am a massive fan of Advanced Themer personally. As you said Paul, going back to using just vanilla Bricks isn’t an easy option after the many improvements it brings. Those little quality of life improvements really do make a huge difference to the workflow 😎

Hi, you mentioned the CSS Variables and colors features of Advanced Themer, but I remember you also like using the Core Framework. I'm curious if having Advanced Themer means Core Framework is no longer needed, or if Core Framework has any special features?

This is the current combo I'm using, AT(Advanced Themer) + CF(Core Framework), for general layout stuff. AT mainly for automatic creation of BEM classes (class converter), variable suggestion, cloning classes and all that timesaving stuff. CF for the easy creation/management of CSS variables for all spacing/colors/typography. (Then BE to take care of adding all the common interactive elements where needed). it's a relatively new combo for me, but it seems to gel very well with how I work/think. Adds a lot of convenience, but in the end you're still in control over classes/variables as if you were doing it all manually. BE = BricksExtras BEM is a name of a certain way of naming classes "testimonials__slider", "testimonials__slider-quote", "testimonials__slider-image" etc. advancedthemer.com/features/class-converter/ advancedthemer.com/category/fluid-variables/ advancedthemer.com/features/autocomplete-your-css-variables/ advancedthemer.com/features/clone-any-class/ (Transferred from Bricks Builder groups)

I think this product is fantastic and for sure it pays for itself...still a massive investment for some of us small devs...

If you’re starting out, just buy one of the smaller licenses until you reach that point where you need more. It’s very tempting to jump on all these LTDs - FOMO is very real, but don’t over extend yourself when you don’t need it. At the end of the day, your clients should be paying for it anyway!

Amazing! Is the query loop like reusable blocks/elements aswell? I mean, do you need to add loops? It would even be nice if you could do more advanced tutorials with bricks like gsap animations or full screen off canvas menus, floating fixed buttons/elements, animated shape deviders (if possible), advanced headers with mega menu and sticky and scroll options etc.

Looks amazing. Hoping most of these also find their way into Bricks because I don't have another $369 to spend😅

great video as always. I'm still trying to understand what each tool is for: advancethemer, core Framework, acss, brickforge... Do you have a few words to capture the characteristics and uses of each thing?

advanced themer does a little bit of everything, but for me, it provides some shortcuts to make me that much more efficient. Core framework gives you tools to build your own class based framework. Acss is a customizable framework. Bricksforge provides additional elements, a tool for adding more complex animations, and some extra bits similar to advanced themer. There's a bit of overlap but you can pick and choose which of the features from each you need. I currently 100% use acss and bricksextras, and am experimenting with bricksforge (and because of the LTD, advanced themer now, I guess).

Do you have an export of your settings?

Do you know if I should keep the plugin after I finish the site or I can remove the plugin without break anything?

No, you need to leave it installed in most of not all circumstances.

Does AT enhance ability to utilize dynamic data at all?

Not really, no. It's more of a general productive enhancer in Bricks.

How does the site run with AT installed?

It is Bricks Builder itself which looks like Webflow. Advanced Themer is an add-on to Bricks Builder to supercharge your productivity by providing a wide range of improvements to the core functionality of Bricks. To be clear, Advanced Themer won't work unless your WordPress site is using the Bricks Builder theme. Bricks is a theme, which includes this powerful and clean site and template editor. Advanced Themer is a plugin, which adds the features Paul is covering in this video. I just upgraded my Annual 5 site license to the Unlimited LTD to go along with my Bricks, ACSS, and Frames LTDs.

When I think about all these LTD sales used to pay your affiliate invoices, I really wonder if it’s worth it…
