Looks really cool. I think your plate would look better in the middle where it's meant to go. The lights look killer!

Good rule of thumb for splicing/tapping into wires. Do the splicing/tapping 4 to 8 inches from the plug, may need to cut the corrugated plastic pipe and this will also allow for a fix if your headlight fails, and also test everything before, during and after to make sure the headlight and new sequential anything are working properly. You will know you did it wrong if it is solid yellow or off.

I like that a company is tackling this, it is oem+, I would like them to make it to the point where it's more into the garnish like your wiring specialist said haha. More flush to the car. Great first product and much more room to improve. I would only use the turn signal as well, that cool blue and white just to much.

@@alexl.102 Cool! Definitely wasn't trying to slam your decision to go Morimoto! They're gorgeous and headlights are a safety feature as much as a cosmetic piece and from what I've researched, Morimoto is the best performing aftermarket choice we have at the current time. I never thought I'd see a $1000 price tag on a set of headlights (what?) and being old school, where a $50 headlight was pricey - perhaps I'm just too stubborn. Still, it's a ton of cash for your average guy to throw at any upgrade. I wish the price point was just slightly into the more sane and reasonable ballpark. 😂🤪

do you have to tap into the factory wiring ? is there no way to achieve a plug n play harness ? i find it odd that this mod requires you to mess with your factory wiring , is it safe ? does it void electrical warranty ? i feel like it’s worth it to take the time to make a custom harness for this stuff , why mess with the cars factory wiring if you don’t need to , but yeah i ordered the front + rear for my hatch , and the side markers , and am nervous to install yet

Lol it doesn't mess with any warranty or anything like that and all you have to do to connect them is use some super easy to use t daps. And It's 100% getting a custom harness done isn't really worth the extra mile cause it's already super easy to do without doing that

Yes it can there's wings you can find online for sedans/hatchbacks. I used to have a type r wing on my old 2018 sport touring hatch

True: But too many of them are trying to go full performance mods and this just isn't the platform to try and compete in straight line pulls (the most boring and least impressive type of racing, anyway). The content creators get disappointed with the results of lame pull after pull (sketchy + illegal + expensive) racing and move on. At least Chris does a mix of performance and cosmetics... He could keep building and modding for another year and still have content to provide the xgen community. We haven't even done full sound system and lighting yet! These cars are dope, good all around'er cars... Honda haters just move along, plz.

@@bruisedavocado65 The chassis is brilliant and does handle like a dream! I don't even have coilovers yet, but this thing really blew me away in the Colorado Rockies. Absolutely stellar handling and a torque curve that let's you drive the hell out of it. Unfortunately, you just can't describe how well it behaves to other people who haven't been behind the wheel of one long enough to put it through its paces. 💙
