Good walkthrough. But there is actually oem wiring for the foglights behind the washer fluid on the passenger side where you connect those harness of the foglights the wire then leads to the dash where you can add relay and connect the switch

Zhen I was trying to look for it online but I cant find any. But there is this instruction from honda that makes you connect the harness from there. Im installing my fogs this summer so imma try to route it from there.

Not a Mechanic, But this installation is Really Bad, I would have run the wires through the fire wall with spiral wrap installation, that would prevent any wires from chafing , which could lead to electrical short and maybe fire

Or actually run them behind the fender and through the rubber grommets in the chassis which would bring the wires behind the driver side dash.

Just to change fog lights or chrome grille you need to remove the bumper and tons of screws sad life. Before my old car there is only 2 screw to remove the grille.

People please don’t run wires like he did!!! Run them thru the firewall. I saw he had 8ga wire running the same way. 1 bad accident and that will be a fire hazard! Run thru the firewall

Lol that much work just to swap out a grille. Damn. I’m too lazy to do this. Thought it would be just a simple 2 screws, 4 at the most installation job. Nope. Got to take off nearly the whole front end lol just to replace a small piece of plastic.

If your civic already has oem fogs, can you just remove the stock lenses [and screw the Spec-D yellow lenses in their place] and use the OEM harness to power the new yellow lamps? Or do you still need to wire the headlights through the fender, install a switch, zip-tie wires around, etc.

funkynuggets19 yes. You just gotta buy the yellow foglights without the case. And you can just do a plug and play kind of deal.

NEVER run wires through the qp/ door like that. This is a hack install. There is an easily accessible hole in the firewall behind the battery. Do it right. Clearly you have no common sense.

Armando Flores it depends, if youre able to remove the oem emblem without breaking it then yes. But its better if you just get new emblems. Easier and jdm af 😂

How hard was it to get the bumper back on? Did you have to hold the each of the tabs in the correct position with a flathead as you put the bumper back into place? Just bought the JDM Access Yellow LED fogs and I'm looking forward to installing
