I was bowling Pete Weber for the U.S. open title in 1998, and i left a 5-7-10 in the pocket. PDW only needed 7 to beat me and he threw a guitar ball!!! I was receiving my $100k check, when my Alarm clock woke me!!😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Reminds me of golf. You think you have your form down, then the lanes change (oil and such). Kind of like golf when you think you have your form down, then the weather comes into play. And in both one move the wrong way or timing while doing your form can throw off your game for that hole/frame.

How can you leave out the original 10th frame disaster. Del Ballard in 1991. I remember watching that live when I was 14. First time I ever saw a pro throw a gutterball at a full rack on TV. I was completely shooketh.

I think this one beats them all, Provincial 5 Pin Team Championships this year, bowler gets up in the 10th needing only a 10 count to win, which means he only needs to hit the headpin and 2 other pins with 3 balls, he throws a corner, then punches another pin, then whiffs on the last ball to lose by 2!!! Almost inconceivable, closest thing I can think of would be 4 putting from 3 ft to lose a golf tournament!!

I saw a match on the TV where a bowler missed the same ten pin conversion early in a match, then disputed he was distracted by someone coughing or something and they gave him a re-do and then he converted it. That's bush. Also 3:44 - 3:48 ? Whiff.

I've met him before and he actually is't a bad guy. He was so happy because he thought he was done. I would be that happy if my opponent left an 8-10 to give me the title, even though I would feel bad for him.

You can't really compare them. Mike Haugen bounced back from a 56 pin deficit when Mika only missed a 10 pin.

Drummer.Bowler I didn't realize that but it still comes across as celebrating your opponent missing vs you performing well.
I saw a match on the TV where a bowler missed the same ten pin conversion early in a match, then disputed he was distracted by someone coughing or something and they gave him a re-do and then he converted it. That's bush. Also 3:44 - 3:48 ? Whiff.
