The Edmund W. Gordon Lecture, in honor of IUME's Founder, was established in 2013 as an annual lecture series. The Gordon lecture series aims to bring scholars, administrators, teachers, students, and all educational stakeholders together to discuss the most pressing issues of the day through cutting-edge and critical research from some of the country's top education scholars. Past lecturers include Angela Valenzuela, Gloria Ladson-Billings, Sonia Nieto, and more.
