Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZread, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZread. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZread, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Mm-mm! Nothin' like a 10CC dose of rock & roll delivered with s shot of dark humor.
Life is a Minestrone by 10cc should be next. Very clever culinary lyrics,
This was my first ever favourite song on the radio. I was 11. 👍
Dean and I, Art For Art's Sake, Life is a Minestrone, Wall Street Shuffle, The Things We Do For Live and Donna. All amazing songs and such variety. Also Deadlock Holiday
10cc often injected fun and humour into their music, I suspect that is where they get linked to glam rock, which had a light frothy aspect. With 10cc the lyrics were important too, several of their tracks are story songs. They churned out loads of good stuff before they divided into two halves in the 80s. Other ones I like of theirs include.... wall st. shuffle...I'm Mandy, fly me....under her thumb.... life is a minestrone. ... - and the idiosyncratic Neanderthal man, which they released under the band name Hotlegs while they were still getting their act together. Knew you would enjoy reacting to Rubber bullets it's a great fun track. Tom Paxton wrote a song about a prison riot called The Hostage, he gives it a very different treatment. A number of acts played prison gigs,, notably Johnny Cash, his track San Quentin is very good, you can hear the inmates cheering in the back. It is a live performance.
10cc didn’t have a glam image , like say Slade, T.Rex or Sweet but they had clever and humorous songs in keeping with that movement. They were more studio based technicians, all four members were songwriters, lead and harmony vocalists as well as talented multi instrumentalists. Although they did tour and make t.v. appearances. In my opinion , musically they had more in common with art pop/rock bands like Queen , The Electric Light Orchestra and even The Beatles and Elton John. They are often referred to as the British Steely Dan.
Quirky foursome from Manchester who decided to start a studio in the north of England in the late 60s/early 70s (Strawberry Studios) so everything wasn't based in London. They played as session musicians on a Neil Sedaka album and he said "you guys should be a band" ..Art for Arts Sake and I'm Mandy Fly me are UK classics and ofcourse there's I'm Not In Love which was a worldwide hit. One of the most inventive bands of the 1970s..Members Godley (drums and low vocals on Rubber Bullets) and Creme (guitar and lead vocals on Rubber Bullets) later split and had their own hits as a duo...they're also more or less responsible for inventing the pop video for the MTV generation as Godley and Creme were also interested in making films and promos.
That was great rocking music 🎵🎶🎵🎶 ☮️
These four guys put out 4 great albums before they splintered apart. They always infused their music with humor. Great little band.

Just four?
Lots of Beach Boys sounds going on. 10CC homage to a track off Surf's Up called Student Demonstration Time by The Beach Boys1971
One of the best British bands ever
People forget just how big 10cc were in the seventies and eighties at least in the UK but living through this era they were never classed as a "Glam Rock" band like Roxy Music or Sweet. Every song was a story and many humorous songs too. Worth looking at their catalogue before and after 10cc too. The Album "Sheet Music" with songs like "Silly Love and the non politically correct "Hotel" are worth listening to. You may recognise "Clockwork Creep" as well, at least a few bars that are used at the beginning of "I'm Mandy, Fly me" on the subsequent album?
30 Days in the Hole is Jail song from Humble Pie that rocks, Great reaction,
If you look up the Wikipedia article about this song, you'll find it's inspired by a riot at the Attica State Prison in 1971 - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_Bullets en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attica_Prison_riot
Great reaction. If you watch videos by a group called “ Sweet “ Blockbuster was a really good one. That will show you a great example of glam rock. 😁👍🏾PS. This was the first record I ever bought. I was 14 and I still love it.
I have that album autographed By all four members
They had this whimsical sense of humour, "Dean & I", "Hospital Song", "Johnny Don't Do It" are other examples. :) I wonder if the "Sergeant Baker" is a reference to "Sgt. Pepper" album by the Beatles that happened only five years earlier. Edit. correction six years earlier, 1967 - 1973.

@@johnp8131 Pardon, six years. Sgt. Pepper was released 1967 and Rubber...1973
Lol sings most of this one. Kevin sings the high and low parts. Sounds like Jailhouse Rock performed by the Beach Boys. That was the full length album version.
These guys are in a class by themselves. Every song off their first four albums (before the split) is worthy of attention. It helped that they had their own studio to play around with. (Strawberry Studio - named after a certain Beatles song.) One Night in Paris is their 9 minute epic.
Their first No 1 in the UK, a very clever underrated band. Sound American but were from Manchester and shouldn’t be labelled as glam-rock. Their ‘Dean and I’ track has a similar feel (one of my favourites). Their name apparently comes (pardon the pun) from the amount produced during ejaculation.
Love their first album. But the first I heard was Sheet Music.
What fun.... ♥♥ chair dancing....♥♥
amazing. love you!
Please check out CCR songs SWEET HITCH HIKER and UP AROUND THE BEND and MIDNIGHT SPECIAL ,for more John Fogerty singing !!!
You must do group "Juciy Lucy" song, Train
Awesome. I love their humorous songs. Another funny one is ‘I Wanna Rule the World’
Glam may also include the tongue in cheek lyrics.

Good point 👌
get real. listen to the music---"BALLIN' in the streets." and "it's a shame these slugs ain't real" is EXACTLY what Porkchop is thinking.
One of my favorite Canned Heat songs! Is that Bear or Blind Owl on vocals?

Speaking of Canned Heat try Let's Work Together featuring Top of the Pops audience Feb. 1970. Watch for the dancer about 25 seconds in with the white mini skirt and black belt...you're welcome. That's the Bear on vocals.
more like 2cc to 5cc not 10 cc
It's not glam rock!
