That is not how the Taxstone situation happened. Taxstone brought a gun, that he wasn't allowed to have, into a venue where guns weren't allowed. The situation was his fault because he had the gun. He got hit with manslaughter because he was at fault for the death. If Tax was in Florida, he'd still be in prison because he was a convicted felon that wasn't allowed to have a gun in the first place. Florida is harsh on repeat offenders...

He would've done 85% of his sentence. Not to mention the fact, he would've gotten hit with a public endangerment charge. He may not have gotten the man slaughter charge. The only reason his sentence is so long is because he was a convicted felon, so he got max time for each charge...

Most Cops can't even fathom this responsibility or even have the opportunity to ever have this training given to them. I'm a stocky 5'8 Marine that gets it in with guns or none and have protected many principals in NYC with 0 issues. "NYPD" Cops?? Im army served in iraq in the beginning of oif.. i was on a 50 responsible for convoy details.. out in the open this is before welded protection.. i would put money on my battalion over any set of police ive encountered.. ever.. bro said it perfectly above 👏 shout out the marine corp my father was a marine in Vietnam. But not only are we trained to neutralize a situation we are also trained to defuse, deflect, protect, from any conflict. Ive seen this w alot of combat vets we are just always on point.. scanning, surveying the surroundings.. after combat encounters yur mind starts working like a computer almost.. processing situations.. facts are there are no respawns and yu have to be prepared.. alot of us dont sleep much because our minds just dont stop protecting.. but we can also administrate aid. So like expressed above we can save yur life. Yu will be amazed what a human can survive when a tourniquet is applied and yu make sure oxygen is abundant..

You’re not in representation of your department. For example, you can’t be bouncing for a party for Shaq and if something pops off you pull out your badge and say you’re LAPD. You can get yourself jammed up pretty bad doing so. Hence why most l/e officers realize it’s just a side hustle and they won’t take it that serious. Now a security on one hand takes the job to serious. Hence the phrase flash light cop. A lot of them are wannabe cops and they go overboard.
