Holy crap that is one powerful microphone. I don't even understand how you got those sounds from paper. Subscribed.

Thank you. It's a mixture of microphones (and placement) and working really hard in post edit to get the best out of a recording. Thanks for watching, and commenting.

i feel.. .like this pointer.. is literally drawing on my scalp and brain. the audio in this video is AMAZING!!
Wow the sound was crystal clear on this, almost sounded surreal! Also nice £50, don't get to see many of those!
@SOUNDsculptures

Thank you! I don't get to see many of those either! In fact, this £50 is the first I have seen for sixteen years!
Such beautiful bills and the coins have such intricate designs! I think my favorite was the 10 pounds. Pretty little hummingbird!

Yes, I think they're beautiful too. The higher the face value, the more luxurious the note. The £20 note has changed drastically in the last decade. It never used to be this big or with such rich purple tones, and never had so many hologram shiny bits. The really interesting bit for me are the coins. Sometimes you get coins, like the two pence piece in this video, and the design is strange as it runs off the edge of the coin. If anyone is interested, go to a search engine and type in 'British Coins' and look at the images. You'll see that if you put all the coins flat down on a surface, they make up the Royal Shield of Arms. It's fascinating. I wish I'd shown it in my videos but I was trying to not let it run over into too long a video.

***** I found a picture on my phone today that I'd taken over Xmas of the coins making up the Royal Shield of Arms. I'd never have even noticed something like that in the first place, had you not mentioned it, so thanks!
So many memories watching this video again after all these years. This was the very first ASMR video I ever saw! 💙

im always amazed by the intense sounds you get from such soft actions, surely your microphone is of amazing quality, blown awayyyyy
This is an exceptionally relaxing video; I haven't had ASMR at such a level in a long time. Great job!
0:18 "Hi there"
Uk money looks cool lol
somehow ive grown accustomed to asmr over the years of doing it constantly but your channel always gives me tingles when i need them
the beginning of this asmr video was absolutely relaxing .. subscribed :)
God damn, your vids are amazing. Top-notch sound quality.
Hmm. Astounding sound quality. I don't even know how you managed this, but it's brilliant.
I find it amazing that as a sound artist you can portray so much without the use of your voice. Your videos give me a very specific feeling that no one else can recreate in the asmr community. Your videos are what introduced me to asmr and your pencil video was the first asmr video I ever watched , I thought someone had drugged me and my brain was being massaged! Thank you so much , keep at it !
Thank you for your work through the years (:
This is so nice. One of my favorites of all time.
First vid I saw of you, subbed immediatly! I ♡ this SO much! Love from Morocco!
I didn't quite know what to make of this video at first as I've never seen a pointer like this used anywhere before, but after a few minutes I was entranced! Very relaxing!
This is really good. I get chills without headphones.
HOLY CRAP, the sound quality is so good. I was not expecting this much tingles, Thank you kind sir 😊😅

I can't help but compare the sound of the pointer on the five pound note to the sound of scratching corrugated cardboard. Great video.
Nice combination of sounds.
This is beyond amazing! Also, English money is so pretty! ;)

Wow I wasn't aware of the close up sound of paper, really cool.
I love this! And I can't remember for sure if you said this or not, but I think I remember you saying you weren't big on making pure tapping videos. But I saw you tapping a little in one video (I can't remember which one). But holy crap... Those few seconds gave me massive chills. It's so hard to find people who are good. I love how you gently tap on objects with your fingertips. Even though you're probably not fond of that particular trigger, I thought you should know you're very good at it. :)

Hi PurpleJive! You're very kind, thank you. It's funny you know that you mention this because only a couple of days ago I started thinking about this subject, and wondering if people would be interested if I did a few purely tapping videos. You are right in thinking that I've shied away from it for the most part, though in all of my 'Curiosity Box' videos (there are three now on my channel) I do tap. Hmm. If you have any specific request I would be happy to help. Helen :)
@PurpleJive
9 жыл бұрын
Haha! Oh you have? :D I know I'm probably not the only person who has mentioned how good you are at tapping, because you're awesome! I'd love if you did one! Boxes tend to be my favorite surface for tapping, and I've noticed they're pretty popular. Also, my favorite video that you did was the one where you're unboxing something and using a scalpel. The way you gently cut open the box was such a trigger! You really are talented in ASMR! :D
the sounds from 09:00 with the pointer on the 50 pound note… omg! more of that, please!
良い音をありがとうございました!!
I love the pointer! :)
This is absolutely fantastic! What was that pointer, a stylus? I didn't know what to expect but the sounds were exquisite!
Fab just subbed so amazing I got aalot of tingles xx
A decade later and i still get tingles ❤
Whys this so fun to watch T.T
I enjoy to see and hear your pointing on money video.
Your coins and paper notes are works of art - so much lovelier than ours.
Awesome video! Reminds me of the Map video. :D

You should make more vids with the pointer, they're really good
I put this on with the intent of playing it in the background whilst I did some reading. 16 minutes later and I'm sitting here all wibbly, having not read a single word.

Great vid, curious as to what mics/setup you use?
awesome!
i love the back of the £50 note.
Awesome sounds! The amount of tingles I got from this really surprised me as lately I've been getting more into spoken whisper videos and the like. But this is just amazing and wonderful to relax to. Also, I have to ask: is the pointer a knitting needle?! Thanks for the brilliant video!
Beautiful video! Subbed! (Is it just me, or is money from the UK prettier than the money here in the States? lol)
wow... there is much justice in your mic(s). Really amazing sounds. It's like what things would sound like if you were the size of a flea. the pointer is mightier than the sword ;)

Is there a mic on the end of that pointer? Sounds so close and cool
I love the new sound It makes when someone clicks like on this...
I love the money. Here in germany it isn't that great ^^ Nice video. Keep up the good work.

That is strange!!! Theres not many of them in circulation yet, I've only had a couple over the last few months! Hope you enjoyed your trip! And could understand our accent ha!
When the pointer didnt show, I though you were cutting the bill. It frightened me up real hard, but it turns out it was just the sound quality that's exceptionally incredible
I find it strange that people are startled at the fact that their money is different... are people not aware that different countries use different currencies that look different and have different values?
You really are the very best.

£2 coins are the best coins ever
These coins look like those you can find in antic times. That is interesting.
There's no way I'd risk tearing a fiver in half, no matter how good it sounds.. Good job you're around to pull off crazy stunts like this.
@SOUNDsculptures

You must be joking, I would not tear money in half! What you're hearing is just the mics very close up to the back of the note.
