The "darker" elements of the second film is what made me love that one more than the others cause if it's seriousness and touching moments. Tho, I do love all of them.

watching this video makes me appreciate animators A LOT! I swear, animators must have A LOT of passion when they're working on a big project like Kung Fu Panda. Animators are one of the most hard working people on the entire planet. And that's why I LOVE animation :)

I actually like dreamwork's approach, where it's all implied with nothing stated outright. Both HTTYD movies do this too. Makes it less forced and, in turn, causes the characters that're being shipped more complex because they do things normal couples do without being dramatic about it.

tcrpgfan I like Tigress and Po because their relationship is SLOWLY building up unlike other movies where they're shoving the whole relationship into one hour or less. This is just my opinion.

Natany Kitskon Dude, pots and kettles man, Pots and kettles.They did the same thing in HTTYD Yeah astrid planted a big one on Hiccup at the end, but that could be easily interpreted as a congratulatory/ happy you're alive thing. Nothing is set in stone yet. And I'm including the TV series here because there's less confusion about Dreamwork's Dragons' overall canon status (It is canon to the films) compared to Kung Fu Panda.

tcrpgfan We'll see what happens in Kfp4... if they will continue the sequels. HTTYD did have some slow building up relationship, they were pretty similar, you are right, but Kung fu Panda is more of a mystery.

And that is not made better by the debatable canonicity of the tv series. If the show is canon, then tipo is possible there. However I prefer the characterization of the two in the films . Po is given a lot of levity in the first film to counterbalance his sillier moments (instead of being so cocky like he is in the show and Tigress does soften up considerably between the first and second movies.Po balancing out the dynamic among the masters at the Jade Palace helpedwith that, and it's harder for me to imagine the tv show incarnation doing the same considering that Po in the movies did take his training seriously enough without losing his goofball charm.

Kung Fu Panda will always be one of my favorite DreamWorks films. I still remember seeing the first one in theaters on my birthday.

Regarding #22 (4:13) I would just like to say: Thank you, Jack Black for single handedly saving the movie on that one. Po's self-loathing and desire to be, in his own words -- "NOT me" -- is what makes him so relateable and likeable, and a big part of why KFP is such a great movie.

well if Dreamworks does make anymore Kung Fu Panda movies I'll be both excited and worried for them at the same time I'll be excited for them because Im a big fan of the KFP movies I think they're all pretty good and I wouldn't mind if they made more and I'll be worried because I worry they won't be as good as the previous ones

+Afonso Lucas yeah I think the villain, although cool, has similar intentions to Lord Shen from the second film.

One thing I am so worried about for Kung Fu Panda 3 is the main villains voice.. Tai Lung and Shen both had such PERFECT voices and tones for their characters. Shen especially. Every line he says is just so amazing. I am hoping they can strike that perfect note a third time.
