One of the previous voice actors (Black Gryphon) said Viv always wanted a cast of famous Broadway actors. The original and new cast are lovely, but yes, the recasting made sense.

Yeah, makes perfect sense. Plus it seems like several of the cast members from both the pilot and the full series have great respect for eachother and a little bit of a friendship over their shared work on roles. So there doesnt really seem to be any kind of bad faith between any parties at all which is just nice.

In Helluva Boss Season One Episode Eight "Queen Bee", there is an imp with a shirt that reads "Voxflix and Chill" - specifically one that talks to Blitz after he shows up to pick up Loona. So Vox also got a mention in the other series.

Here's a fact you forgot to mention, Mr. Frederator: during Alastor's song in Hazbin Hotel's pilot, the outfit that he puts Vaggie in (the wide brimmed hat and the fur around her shoulders) is the exact outfit that we see Susan wear in episode 7. Susan being the old cannibal woman that Rosie and Alastor are not very fond of, when Charlie tries to convince the cannibals to join her.

@@my.melody.gamingg I never said it was PLANNED. I never argued that Vivzie created that outfit back in the pilot with the intention of making Susan in the future. I simply pointed out that the hat and fur that Alastor put on Vaggie during the pilot song is the same one that Susan is wearing on episode 7. It's a nod to the pilot, and is also very much in character for someone like Alastor.

My favorite curse moment is when Alastor tell Lucifer to f1 himself. It's so out of no where but for Alastor's ego- it is somewhat hurt, while his curse at Lucifer is the 1st time they meet.

@@DarkElfDiva Considering the time too, I'm surprised Alastor landed a job as a radio host and kept it. Especially given the setting was New Orleans, Louisiana, in the 1920's. Racism was laid heavy then, especially around here. Tbh, it's not entirely gone either. It has nothing to do with swearing but yeah, more on Alastor's work

Fun fact: The series being set a week after the pilot can be also deduced from the ep 2 scene when Sir Pentious attacks the hotel just like he did in the pilot. He then says "I attacked you literally last week" or something along those lines

As someone from New Orleans, it makes sense why Alastor’s my (second) favorite, and why he talks about Jambalaya in the pilot.

Katy Killjoy is played by Brandon Rogers. Not only is he the voice of Blitzo from the spin off series, but Katy Killjoy is similar to Brandon's own character, the CEO.

12:18 As a snake owner, and aspiring snake breeder, I can confirm that male snakes do really have 2 male private parts.

Seraphim (like her dad) also have legs like a 'calves straight legs (their front legs) and hooves of burnished bronze'. So her dad most likely has hooves as well. She got her dad's feet, but her mother's red blood. She a nephilim, half (fallen) angel and half human. Time will tell if she got her father's wings as well.

14:00 musical and historical deep dive theoretical thingy!!! Paganini was a violinist and composer and was thought to have sold his soul to the devil. I like to think that’s where the Lucifer having the fiddle or violin motif is based… but I’m also a huge nerd so it could just be a reference to that one song

Fun fact: as someone who has played violin for over 9 years as a left handed person, Lucifer is not playing the violin correctly. Pretty sure the left handed thing was just an animation error.

you can get violins that have the strings reversed so you play it opposite handedly. I am also left handed and I don't play the violin but I headcannon lucifer made it that way on purpose

Not really a fact about the show as it is rn, but Lucifer's old design included a worm on his hat - which had been replaced by a golden snake. I think it's interesting, because his jacket also looks like an apple (especially from the back), apple being used as asymbol in general. At the same time a worm only imitates the shape of a snake, which makes the idea of pride a bit funnier.

Fun fact: during the music video of “Loser, baby”, you can see in the sequence where Angel and Husker are dancing together that Angel’s second pair of arms are gone. Some speculated that he retracted them to be able to dance with Husk better, but the animator confirmed that he simply forgot to draw them.

Another fun fact is that Katie Killjoys VA in the series is Branden Rogers who also voices Blits in Helluva Boss

In the song "Inside of every demon is a rainbow -- Alastors reprise/ Inside of every demon is a lost cause" Charlie gets dressed using Alastor's abilites, and takes the appearance of Rosie in the show, Vaggie also gets dressed using Alastor's abilities to appear as Susan in the show.

you can hear alastor's unfiltered voice more often than that. on the top of my head, when he speaks to Husk in the always before the chain scene.

I'm not sure this is true, I just saw it on an article, but Vizvie confirmed season 2 will come a lot quicker than season 1 did, only about 1 to 2 years

11:09 i'm not sure if this counts as an inaccuracy, but in the pilot there were little tidbits of alastor's voice shining through the radio sounds. they were very small portions, and most of it was in song. but that technically does count as "alastor's unfiltered voice."

Another fact! I’m not sure if it’s canon anymore but it was canon in the pilot! Charlie like having retractable horns and a tail, has retractable wings that she just has not used yet! It was confirmed by one of the team members in the pilot. I’m not 100% sure if it’s canon anymore but it was in the canon in The pilot and I would not be surprised and would be very cool if it’s still canon and used in future seasons! (:
