I'm James A. Janisse with the Kill Count, and today we're going to be looking at "1066 The Battle of Hastings." This video has a total of 26 kills, the victims consisted of 9 Normans, and 17 Saxons. With a total runtime of 1 minute and 30 seconds, with a kill on average every 3.46 seconds. The Golden Chainsaw goes to Harold Godwinson, who is killed by an arrow in the eye. The Dull Machete goes to the 1st Saxon who is killed by enemy arrows.

Your content is really well animated, reminds me of the Brick Dictator's medieval videos, especially when the cavalry charges in. At least you don't destroy the figures lol. I suspect you will grow in subs very quickly. Nice work.

@@brickdominion1406 I have all the early reports if you want - only cost you about £700 (William of Poitiers and Orderic Vitalis will set you back £200 a piece). Then there's William of Jumièges. Bayeux Tapestry, Carmen, William of Malmesbury, Henry of Huntingdon, Wace and finally the Chronicle of Battle Abbey. You could also add an excerpt from the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles too.

@@brickdominion1406The only problems i saw were the inaccurate helmets, and chest plates. back then, chest plates and armored helmets didnt exist yet. everyone used basic iron helmets with chainmail. maybe a few shoulder pads and knee pads in the late 1200s, but besides that, just chainmail. but the video is good, nonetheless!

Can't wait to see how you continue to improve! Also I'm so jealous of your historical figure collection - what website(s) did you use to buy all these? Do you have any tips for finding them cheap?

Wow that really means a lot! For my figures my first choice is the used local market like Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. But I’ve also gotten lots of figures from places like bricklink. I’ve mostly gotten the pieces for my minifigures separately and in bulk so I don’t often buy complete minifigures from bricklink. Ive also accumulated a good amount of Lego castle figs over the years just from slowly buying over time.
