Alright guys I've been waiting to do this for a few months now. Let's see how these tires do when the surface temperature of the rocks is 120°F. 🤯

While it does give an idea of how the tires do. I still think the same truck needs to be used as it reduces the number of variables. Keep the good content coming buddy.

That might be true on something more technical or where CG was more of a factor. But considering all 3 rigs can make the line fairly easily the only thing separating them is the tires.

@@Furadi you are testing tire performance, so using 3 rigs that can make that line is moot.

Hmm... I think the tire test would have been better done using only 1 rig. Even if you claim they are setup similarly the mere fact that you have different axles does not make them equal at all.

Love the side hill grip of the jconcepts tires and hunks are the same on clean rock, some times when you want to cut back loose to get a little more rotation to clear a gate, they just won't let go.

Great content and quality video. Love the jconcept tires. They're cheaper and perform better than my prolines I've collected. Ruptures are nice for straight axle rig with that extra 1/8" of clearance to boot.

Cool rigs! May I know what paint are you using for the silver Creeper? Thanks.

A tyre test can only be done on 1 rig, (and same day, same hour, same place) But the rest of your video is very fine. (Also the Foams/Wheels should be the same or nearly the same).

SC-V1 FTW... I didn't realize the Ruptures were that good.

Underdrive/overdrive is most detrimental on side hill. That variance alone makes the test fall short on reliable comparison. These rigs are kinda similar is true, but axle brand/type and overdrive are huge factors for side hill roll center and slippage. RcTNT does his tire tests using one rig on several different obstacles. His rigs aren’t lcg, but they are the better rtr performers out of the box and give good baselines.

Swap the deepwoods to one of the trucks with the wider axles and I bet they would perform better. I've been a fan of the deepwoods since I first ran them especially for the price and how long they last, but they definitely aren't a rupture 🤣

Are you running any over or underdrive in any of the trucks ? I tried doing over and under in my TC-V1 but seemed like it did better with matching gears.

Yeah we run the least amount possible just because some is good. I think I have 11% in my TC, and around 18% in the CC and SC.

What difference do you think that would make in this case when every rig is capable of making the line? If there was a difference in CG as in 1 of the rigs tipped over you might have a point, but there isn't a difference.

@@roberttruesdell6151 oh I already know cause I've run that line with every rig with many tire combinations. For the purpose of this video it was most efficient to just use 3 different rigs that were all capable of making the line.

A true test would be running all tires on the same truck. It’s scientifically inaccurate if you change the test vehicle for every test.

@@Furadi it would give you a standard testing platform, the only variable that changes are the tires. Come to think of it, using the same foams and wheels would be best.
