For a person that has lots of earrings or other jewelry: I lined the bottom of a dresser drawer with styrofoam egg cartons (cut the top off) & use each little egg place for a piece of jewelry. I organized according to type & color. Some even have 2-3 pieces in them. I used the top of the carton to lay necklaces in & placed them over the others. Just open the drawer & select what you want. I got rid of 4 jewelry boxes & can actually find quickly what I want.

Not to mention you want to keep your jewelry in the best condition possible. That goes for both fine and costume jewelry.
If you get white labels & use a hole puncher to cut out a load of small circles. The using your nail polish colour the top in and place on the top of nail polish bottle so you can see the colour when looking down at them
I would like to add a tip to playing with LEGOS! I bought a hula hoop, allow kid to dump the LEGO box inside the hula hoop to then pick thru pieces without it being all over the floor. Then, when done playing, I use a dust pan to scoop up pieces to put back, carefully placing their latest priced piece ontop for next time, or to then easily pick out and show off.

I have a great idea too! When my kids were younger and we had Legos galore (well.. actually, I still here them all. Lol) We had a designated sheet, I'd spread it on the floor, then we'd do Legomania builds! When we were done, we'd snatch up all sides of the sheet, and hold them up until all the Legos fall onto the middle of the sheet, into a ball shape. Then we'd simply dump the Legos back into the container.
I use clothespins as bag clamps. Whether it’s freezer bags, cereal bags, catfood, chips, or coffee...it’s east to reopen and not a huge loss if tossed. I also use clothespins to clamp together letters and bills, especially when doing taxes..paper clips sometimes fall off.

Lovely I just found a nice box for my ear rings. A ferrero Rocher choclate box. All my earings have slots wow. Now I need somewhere to store my bras and penticoats
Muffin tin for jewelry - great idea!
I really think the Command hooks factory must ship their duds to us here in Australia. So many of these vids recommend them for uses that would be laughable down here. Hang a mirror using them? Hang up, take bets on how long it stay up. Here we have frying pans defying gravity by being hung up using Command Hooks. It can’t be done in Australia! The other mystery is “Dawn Dishwashing liquid -the blue one” It’s used (colour specific) for a lot of craft activities. Dawn isn’t on sale in Oz, so I sit and wonder why the colour would be significant.
I bought a plastic tote, $1.00 regular plastic folders with pockets, medium sized binder clips and plain white labels. I lay the folders on their side, label them, then use the binder clips to hold them closed. Then I place them that way, on their side, open side up with tbe binder clip on top. The plastic folders last a long time. I use different colors for different categories. I then store the tote under my bed or in a closet, to keep it handy.
Some of these are very helpful tips! Thank you
Love the words chosen to describe these ideas.
I use a pill box to store my everyday jewelry and keep it handy. Pretty good when you travel too. Hardly takes up any space.

so many great ideas I loved it, i'm going to use at least 3 right away.
I bought a disc organizer to put my larger eyeshadow palettes (the one's with around 40 colors) in when I organized my vanity. Also I used smaller fish bowls for a decorative, and ventilated brush holder.
Some great tips as space savers especially if you live in a small space
First time on your channel and I LOVE the towel bar in the shed idea. I hope I can use that in the garage this year for our garden tools. Thank you!
Per veterinarians that I tech for, keep your dog and/or cat food in their original bag. The food stays fresh for a longer period of time.

Also important because of all the pet food recalls lately! And airtight storage is best. I think the best storage for kibble is in the original bag placed in a Simple Human pet food container that looks a bit like one of that brand's trash cans. Their pet food containers are close to airtight, and have a scoop stored magnetically in the top of the lid. I "cheap out" with a lot of storage things, reusing cardboard boxes, etc,, but when it comes to pet food, kibble is not the healthiest choice to start with, and feeding stale kibble is just asking for trouble, so I did spend the extra money on safer storage for pet food. Bought it on sale, but it's a really good brand, so it wasn't a deep discount. Also when you pour the kibble out of the bag into a container, you are exposing each kibble to a lot of air. Again, very bad for beloved pets. As cute as those storage ideas are, health comes first. Plastic is not airtight, and at least on a microscopic level, does leach into the food, even the "food safe" plastics, even with solid food like kibble. And there is an outgassing issue....just because we can't smell it doesn't mean there is no problem.

A better idea for storing pet food is to use 2 containers: 1 that seals tight to keep out ants and moisture & the 2nd container is the one that you refill from the main container each week. You use this 2nd container to get their daily food from. This keeps the food fresher. Unlike opening a bag of food every day.

I keep mine in their bags in a large pet food storage cannister on wheels 😍
Using plastic drawers to store dog / cat food is not a good idea. The food containers should be storage tight. The pull out drawers allow for moisture buildup. Ants and other bugs will also be attracted to the kibble.

Love this video ❤️👌
Am I the only one that noticed that several of these ideas would be unnecessary if only they would clear out the clutter?? I watched this b/c I live in a tiny house & always interested in getting more storage ideas. But, 20 pairs of shoes, 50 lipsticks, or 10 water bottles isn't an option. Finding new or multiple uses for what we already have on hand seems like the best tips to me; like the Kleenex box used for plastic (or trash?) bags. Love that idea. Now, where can I hang that..........?

Awesome tips! But I'm so overwhelmed. My brain injury has left me without my old self, without my creativity... this was triggering for me and my CPTSD is going again, to my surprise... I did not expect it. I was trying to find something to cheer up me before I have to go clean out an old spoiled fridge that failed with rotted meat in it. :\ FML. This really is a great video with awesome tips, I just regret that I'm so injured and will never be myself again, I used to be so handy and have so many great ideas. To anyone with ears to hear, please, avoid CPTSD like the plague, no matter it's cause, and cherish your youth, not letting ANYONE EVER take the "real you" away, no matter what. Blessings to you all for a safe 2018. May God keep us all safe, clothed, sheltered and fed.

Roslyn Bradley The table?! If so, thanks. But what I'm saying is, they don't tell you HOW to make the table into an ironing board. You can't just iron on any table, no matter what it's made of. You need layers of fabric that can collect steam without transferring it the table, and fabric that won't burn. You also need enough layers of each to make it affective. That's what I mean. :) hope that makes sense.

How many lipsticks does a person really need? or nail polish for that matter.
Storing things on the inside of cabinet doors is great, til you need to shut the door. Some of the ideas will just force you to push stuff further back into the cabinet, losing that needed space. Just doesn't work with bulkier stuff.
