101A Bidadari Park Drive House Tour

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video features one of our esteemed Senior Designer, Yvonne, who will be taking you on a home tour on her project at 101A Bidadari Park Drive. This newly renovated 3-room BTO carries a Modern Ryokan theme. We’ll be exploring the fully renovated space that highlights the unique features and design choices that makes this home truly special. When we enter the house, we are invited by a full wall cladded with fluted panels on the left of the living room. It conceals the household shelter and also the master bedroom entrance to introduce more privacy in the living space. Blended with the fluted panels is a suspended tv console & tv feature wall. We’ve also overlayed the whole house with vinyl floor and coupled the walls with off-white paint to bring out a spacious look and feel.
We hacked the walls that separated the kitchen and yard to create an open concept and extended kitchen. More fluted panels and mirror is used to conceal the common bathroom entrance. We’ve also constructed an island which acts as a dining table. The highlight of the service yard is the concrete bathtub that is customised for pet grooming and washing.
Coming to the common bedroom, we hacked the existing wall shared with the living room into half to expand the visual of the living space. Blinds are added so that the owners can enjoy both a extended yet private room space when required. The multiple elements of this room are what makes it truly unique and special. The first thing you will notice is a customised Shoji sliding door. Inside the room, there is a raised platform with a hidden tea table. Above the platform are customised Tatami mats from Japan, which greatly enhances the overall Japanese feel. Another unique feature is the feature wall that showcased an arch with strip lighting.
Entering the master bedroom through the concealed door, we are invited by a curved platform with LED lights shining on the floor. Dark wooden laminate is used for the platform. The built-in wardrobe is features round recessed handles, which mimics a true Japanese wardrobe. A headboard with recessed niche allows owners to place their mobile devices to charge and other appliances above.
Entering the master bathroom and common bathroom, both bathrooms are overlayed with a mix of wooden tiles and large tiles to introduce unique styles to them. Top mounted basins above the vanity cabinets further enhances the overall aesthetics.
