I just started looking at other people's island designs and have realized I did a ton of stuff that's really popular on my own. Some of them (castles) were huge and are now not as popular, others like sunken pathways and offset villager houses are still popular. I love that you also made hidden graveyards. Right now I'm in the middle of redesigning my cul-de-sac. I group villager homes based on their designs and had a villager leave and new one with a different house move in. Looking at your video for ideas on what to put in the center of the area as a fountain just doesn't have enough verticality. I do like the pergola I've got, but there's always options to try!

Thanks for this. I decided to redo mu island and I want it to be a spooky, cottage core, fall and mushroom kind of island. It'll be a lot, but the fall holidays are just around the corner. I kept trying to do urban looks and it never worked out. So I'll do a theme that I would like to do. It won't be super fancy, but I can always make things better as time goes on.

Those are the dream addresses! When you lie down in a bed, you can use dream address codes to actually visit the islands you’re seeing. You have to have Nintendo online to use it, but it’s a pretty cool way to tour people’s islands without actually having to fly there :)

I have two switches! A lot of these islands have been deleted so that I could make new ones. Lost Falls, Antillia, and Zinnia all existed on the same switch. Luckily, you can still visit DAs even when the island is gone :)
