@@Dan_the_cobbler have you ever fixed trainers? lots of collecters out there with falling apart classics... often the sole is perfect, like new, because collecters dont wear trainers for miles and miles.. just the glue has come unstuck.. what glue do you use?

I need to stop watching KZread. I can't decide what I want to be when (if) I grow up - and now I can add cobbler to the list. But, hey, I'm only pushing 70 so I have time to decide. Well done!

100th episode of me watching and thinking out loud, "I really need a Blake stitch machine..." and getting the "No, you don't" from the wife.

I like the videography but prefer your old editing style with more long shots and fewer cuts between camera angles. (I say this with some trepidation because I just got called a boomer on another channel by commenting something similar.) The reason is because I watch when I want to relax, and the rapid cuts distract from the chill nature of your videos. Sadly, the new style probably better for engagement :p

Agree longer frames inbetween makes it more relaxing to watch.

The camera work in this was a great touch, it added some extra flavour without being obnoxious!

Congrats on the 100th episode! I know nothing about shoes, but always enjoy your videos. I grew up in the 70s and small town in the U.S. We had a shoe shop / leather shop / saddle shop that always smelled SO good when I went in there as a small boy. Truly GREAT memories!

If you want really good shoes, this shows you what goes into them. If you want cheap, WalMart like shoes, well... you get what you paid. Beautiful work, Dan, and congratulations. You're a master and artist.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE shoes so I am in heaven watching your videos because I especially love to see sad shoes returned to their former glory. Once I saw the finished shoes with the purple soles I visualized a Zoot Suit to go with them.

Hi Dan, somewhere in your videos you've asked for ideas. I'd like to see you introduce a podiatrist. Talk about the value of quality shoes and looking after our feet. Be good if you got yourself a foot massage where the important pressure-points are highlighted. Maybe one video first of the toes and ball, then another with the heel and ankle highlighted.
