Turns out you can use the power of the Impact Kraken as a solar system buster as well- Step 1: Join two craft (rovers) on the surface of any planet with klaws Step 2: Free the pivot and wiggle around until the craft clip into each other Step 3: Timewarp and, if the force is directed into the ground, your ship and all of the planets will go poof. Sometimes flags will survive, all renamed "New Text".

Danny, I need you to complete your destiny. Your fate. Your potatoes. Your NavSat. You need to destroy the sun A.K.A. Kerbol. You need to fulfill our future, and fill our hearts with joy! Long live the Kraken! Long live Danny!

The device only destroys solid things, not Eve/Kerbin’s oceans or atmosphere. Since Jool is essentially a huge atmosphere, it is immune.
