I know I'm late to the party... I grew up in the 70's listening to ELP, Sabbath, Rush, King Crimson, etc... after my first listen of these 1000 Mods guys, wow... this is some good music, looking forward to listening to their catalog. I had the same expereience with Porcupine Tree not long ago. It's what makes music great for a critical listener... finding a new band and sound and exploring it.

Yep, I'm 56. Grew up with those bands, stadium concerts, etc. The past several years I've spent a lot of time catching up on music I've missed, particularly in the stoner and doom genre. So much good stuff out there and so much still being made. Just have to know where to look.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. 1000Mods are a world class band and they're only going to get bigger. I tell people all the time about this band and how good they are. Me and my wife listen them every day as well as my 2 daughters and son as they have no choice but to listen to 1000Mods. Did you know they are recording a new album very soon!

I’d argue it’s actually the Orange and Ampeg amplification that gets this sound, more than the guitars that are used, but the use of guitars with humbucking pickups definitely plays a part as well

I found 1000mods by chance on youtube. Listened to the entire Super Van Vacation album immediately on youtube and this is the most blown away I've been by a band in years. What a great vibe, great show, and amazing crowd! @ 3:36 you can see the crowd vibrating with electricity as he screamed "Hold me babayyyyyyyy!!!!!!" and the whole place erupts, what a show!

i was driving through the desert of nevada last week and was close to falling a sleep, i put this song on full blast and had energy for the rest of the trip ... this is what the song is made for, driving through the desert, what a fucking good track

I don't know why or how, but i know that there are some really good stoner bands in greece that deserve more recongision. Cheers from greece btw!
