The bore and stroke is possible, you need to get the bore correct on the first screen and then put the stroke as low as possible. Then in the variant capacity module, you can make the stroke (or bore) even smaller so it matches what Wikipedia says. It’s on the same screen with the balance shafts, crank, piston, and conrod options

What I’ve found is if you want to delete something like the rear window, I’d to take the sunroof fixture, place it over the desired object to delete and paint transparent. Also tuning a car for 100% sportiness makes them so fun to drive

I believe that even though the advanced settings in automation don't change calculations, they impact Beam in weird ways. Ride height definitely does but tire width seems hit and miss even though the animations show tire deflection etc I think the grip levels stay the same.

You should do a video testing if the advanced settings affect it! Build a regular truck, export it, then take the same truck and lift it like crazy and export that. Take em both out and test them. I'd love to see that! Fantastic video! The Datsun 240z is such a pretty car and motorcycle engines are such amazing feats of engineering!

That car looks super fun to drive. A quick change to gearing and aero and it will be perfect. Saw in the comments how to get more revs out of it. That would be just the cherry on top

My favorite Arcade Racer back in the day was Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition. Worth a play through if you can find it.

I've got the remix version for Xbox, great game

VVT is variable valve timing and VVL is variable valve lift. Adding that to your engine and then playing with the different setting allows you to gain torque/HP earlier in the RPM and carry it to higher RPM.

"i want this to be as light as possible" makes the panel material *steel*

Once i made a 4 cyl that made peak power (185) at 9k rpm and sustained (176) past11k rpm, and a v12 that made 835 at 10.2K rpm wit 100 in cams, 71 in ignition and 12.8 fuel mixture (pre alpha 4.2). probably with higher ignition and a richer mixture the peak power would be higher and with less rpm. Also tried to do a replica of the GMA T50 cosworth engine with the same redline and power but it makes it at 9k not 11k.

Now we need a Heracan V10 swapped Trike.

To have a higher bore/stroke ratio you can change it in the trim of the engine.

yes, the advanced options effect the beamng calculations, but not the automation calculations, i have a van with crazy torque with tyres wider than a drag car and tyre diameter to match with a low profile, and as a result of the tyres, its incapable of burnouts and wheelspin

You can notice similar phenomena in the beginning of other decades, you can always see a sort of blending of styles. In 1960 you can see style from the 50s converging with style from the 60s it's something that I find really neat in both cars and music especially! 😁

It was blown because there was not enough oil and some chewed bearings and oil sloshing around too much is not good that wouldn't happen as much when it was in a motorcycle
