It's hard to grow an audience on 𝕏/Twitter. In this video, I explain exactly how you can do it. Fully organic. NO paid ads.
Start by following the right people. Turning notifications on and adding them to lists, so you can quickly reply to their tweets and stay in "producer mode".
When you're below 100 followers, tweet once or twice a day on your own timeline. Reply to other peoples' tweets at least 20 times per day.
DM people who start following you and find one of their tweets that resonated with you and why. Don't ask for anything. Just get a smile on their face.
Once you start getting a few hundred followers, create your first threads. Involve your followers in the creation. Think about who can pitch in. Who's expertise could you use? Tag them in the thread and DM them once the thread is live. Don't ask for a RT. Just say thanks and tell them the thread is live.
Above 500 followers, you can do your first giveaway. You can automate a giveaway with hypefury.com.
Create an ebook and host it on Gumroad. That way, you'll create an email list whenever someone downloads your ebook.
Make the tweet where you mention your giveaway really simple.
Something like:

Hey Yannick! Thanks for all the tips. Twitter lists are one of my favorite features of Twitter. Twitter Spaces is another feature I love. Looking forward to your "trends" book and connecting with you on Spaces next week. Nope. They won’t see all your comments. They might see comments for people they’re also following.

Start a new Twitter account. You'll grow much quicker. It will be hard at first but you'll grow faster.

Hey Laurence, we're increasing the number of people you can add. We were hitting API limits so had to decrease it a little. We've made a few tweaks since. And we'll continue to increase it in the next couple of weeks/months.

I think you just need to tell them the topic you are working on. Not necessarily show them you draft.
