Awesome! By the way, the 4.0 Rover V8 has nowhere near 290bhp. The original figure is 188bhp, but I suspect that one has considerably less than that now!

Tom is such a good addition to these episodes. Knows his shit, not a complete knob about it and can have a joke around with everyone when the time calls for it.

That might just be my favourite start to any episode. So natural and hilarious, so glad Taylor’s got a decent case

Just started watching this while mindlessly scrolling through Facebook memories... this was the exact day 5 years ago I bought a 4.6 as a short-term winter runaround. I absolutely love it, out of all the cars I own, my P38 is the one I'd never sell. Find a good one and theyre epic!!

Have a P38 myself, 2.5 Diesel though! Bought it from a farmer, lying dying in his field ready to go the the scrap yard in the sky. In steps me, bought it, fixed a ton of things on it (fixed and kept the air suspension too) , brought her back to life! Drove her to Budapest from Ireland, lived there for a year travelling to countries surrounding Hungary, drove back home to Ireland via 8 countries. The old girl only ever needed diesel and that was it! Can’t wait to see the rest of this series and how your P38 performs.

I am already looking forward to the next couple of episodes! Love the series you guys make!! 😍

Can't wait for the rest of this series! Just took my 2001 1.1 Peugeot 106 on a 1800 mile round trip of Scotland from Norfolk and had a blast! Car didn't fail me at all. I did however put it in a ditch at one point when driving on snow but got it out unscathed 😂

Love that it doesnt creep forward in drive. No annoying brake lights ehen you're behind it at traffic lights. Every automatic should have something to sort this problem out.

I had a P38 2.5diesel I smashed it up every green lane I could and it had original air ride which worked too. And I did 6k miles in it and the car never faulted once. Never failed to start never broke down nothing. Was one of the most reliable cars I've owned

I've only never made it home twice in 8 years in mine. Once the water pump sheared and cracked the head. Second the clutch fork snapped inside the box. Alex, thanks for signing my flag at NEC.
