I’m an ex-Wynncraft builder (Dextication in-game) The build team isn’t really paid. It’s just a team of really creative people doing what they love. Everyone from the designers, to the item makers, writers, composers, devs, and GMs puts so much time & effort into the server. It’s something I really admire. I think the builders often get so much attention, leaving the rest of the team with less recognition, when in reality, they do just as much work.

@Tadhg Rooney Im not a server builder or anything (but I have 1000 hours on the server) Most people that work on wynncraft work without gettinf paid, they just like to do it. For example XavierEXE which made over 140 custom soundtracks I think. But this makes quite alot of sense as the server doesnt get that much money (as everything is cosmetic, usless xp item and dungeon bombs maybe but those are for the full server and not just for yourself) even the custom classes are just cosmetic, they are exactly the same

Hey yall, I'm an Item Maker for Wynncraft and can second his comment - we don't get paid (so its completely free), we are actually just a bunch of passionate volunteers who help work on everything for the server in the sections that Dextication mentioned (like IMs, builders, GMS, etc). Its a really cool experience not "working" but really creating content for updates, and its unique how Wynn actually generates content by accepting applications from community members to become volunteers. Hope this answers any of the questions you guys had

I can definitely recommend everyone playing Wynn for yourself, watching someone play is great but playing it yourself is even better. A few things to mention is that the server is indeed completely free and everything is possible and hardly any different from playing with a rank, so there really is no need or even push to buy one. Also, the Wynn CT is actually even larger than the (out-dated) wiki shows, and almost everyone save for the admins and developers are full volunteers. Yeah. Anyway, Wynn community is great and I'd like to ask people who decide to join its forums and discord to keep it that way, it's my personal favorite server (almost even my favorite game!) and I think everyone should give it a try. Send any questions you have below and I'll answer em!

@Bruce Wayne Pretty much, yes, actually. Although not every house or tree has a quest along with it, unique mobs, dungeons, gathering professions, miniquests, caves with loot chests, world events among others are also spread around the map, which means that basically every small part of that map has something in it.

WesleyGamingNL Its practically an MMORPG game. You level up, do quests following a storyline or lore, level your professions and unlock pretty awesome looking skills. Try it out, seriously, it’s amazing.

One thing I didn't realise when I initially played Wynncraft is that the head builder is Grian, and he's still pretty active in the server, he builds a lot of stuff and often oversees builds that he doesn't create (at least according to the patch notes for 1.19)

Tommy is just getting flamed in the wynncraft lobby for breaking the servers

I've been playing wynncraft on and off since 2013 and I can say without a doubt that it is the coolest server i've ever been on. I love the map design and all of the towns in it, the builders are insanely skilled. It's amazing to think what this server must have required in not just building! Levigar alone would be an amazing looking server lobby, but there are tons more that are just like it.

The "I don't want to pay to be ninja". Well the exta classes are actually just cosmetic, which is really cool of them. There aren't any extra benefits from them, but instead different attack animaions & stuff. It's really nice as people can't buy them and be op or something like that.

20 seconds in and he has already mentioned technoblade.... Oh god

I just started playing wynncraft and it quickly became my favorite server. Its such a good server! I gotta say the owners are so good and Grian (the head builder I believe) did such a good job in the builds. This is deffetnatly one of the greatest servers in MC and the music is just amazing

CONGRATS TOMMY! You are literally the first youtuber that made a Wynncraft episode fun without it being a tutorial!

I have been playing on wynncraft for about six years and it is still fun to this point in time. It's an amazing server with the biggest custom built map that exists in Minecraft. A fun fact is that grian actually started KZread while working on wynncraft showcasing builds he did there, he is still to this point in time oneof the owners of the server! This server also got me to start my own yt channel a few years ago :)

good servers typically spends 2k. 1 good custom mingame plugin can cost up to literally hundreds of dollars. and custom plugin = key to good server, and good server has alot of them

I grinded this game with my cousin and brothers and it was by far the best server to play on at the time. I could argue that it's better then Skyblock.
