Yo guys so I wanted to comment and give you guys my thoughts on this video. First I'm sorry for mispronouncing so many words. As many of you may tell I have a lisp. You probably know it's a speech disorder. At times I also have difficulty pronouncing certain words and learning them. Growing up I had many learning disabilities and it was harder for me to process subjects and I was very young when I first started playing Diablo 2 and the way I say names like Mephisto as Mepheesto is just the way I have always said them since I was in elementary school and it just stuck with me. Same goes for Monarch,Arachnid and Annihilus. I know it's hard to watch at times and how out of the ordinary it is but since I was a little kid it's just how I pronounced those words and I only knew about them from Diablo 2. I hope you guys understand. Another note yes I called a unique ring a rare ring I know it was a unique ring I just kinda had a moment there where I was out of it because it's a lot different recording yourself playing games compared to playing by yourself and sometimes I get nervous recording and I just mess up on what I'm saying and lose concentration. Now that's out the way I hope you guys understand and I love making these videos and I love that you all watch them and enjoy them. Thank you :)

Didn't even notice myself except for the rare ring hehe, but I don't really give a fuck because it's about the 1000% mf and not a video on pronouncing everything correct and whatnot. People often are just nit-picking due to several reasons like attention and distraction and so on. Don't worry about it dude, and you don't have to be sorry for that either in my opinion! Xtimus I try your trick with Mephisto, but it doesn't seem easy to me - Level 2 is verry large, it takes time to find the way to level 3. Sometime I found level 1. And sometime I die when stucking on the bunch of monters. - I think Blizzard added some monters in the level 3. And your trick can't work with v1.14d. Could you please confirm to me? Please tell me if you don't understand me. I am not good at English but I am really like your video. Good work, bro!

Xtimus one more think I want to need your suggestion. I want to build a Sorc MF run. But my gear is very bad. Please tell me what's the best map to run MF for me and the cheapest gears I need to find(include where're to find sockets items and rune to build runeword) Currently, I often kill diablo in nightmare mode because I can't survice in hell mode. Cold resistance monters are my nightmare >.

MF Necros are great for that but not very fast :D

Best childhood memory.. i used to run a bot all night long and everyday when i was in highschool... waking up in the morning was like chistmas everyday lol all those items and runes in my stash!

Love your videos, really interesting considering I never play D2 that hardcore back in the day.

1000% magic find. 0 space to put anything good you find. This was always something I hated about charms, and the cube was never enough for me. Good shit though.

***** drop rate still not high enough. you could become lvl 85 in less than 3 days without really trying too hard. but it would still take you like 5 months to farm the high runes to create your rune word gear. by then it's time for ladder reset hahahaha. probably more than 5 months lol. i don't bot anymore but even back when i did i was lucky to find like 3 hrs in a week and normally that included ist. haha. so by the time you can cube up to the runes you need. reset time is around the corner. the game should be playable solo so you don't need to buy hr's from everyone in order to have gear befor reset.

Yeah but realistically when you do a ton of Mef runs you're getting a lot of trash uniques anyway, so there isn't much point in saving inventory space. Gheeds is so common that it's always pretty safe to drop briefly when you find something decent.

hey one thing to note about mfing. The closer players stand together when fighting, the droprate will increase substaintially. It was the only way we began to find the rarest hrs like ber, jah, cham and zod consistently.

My favourite is just like your switch, and then full normal gear :> Don't need anything but that switch for magic find as sorceress, unless you we're for some reason gonna do maybe pindleskin or similar harder area's. Btw -nofixspect on your shortcut will help :)

i use Crescent moon with my infinity merc and 2 5/5 light facets, so i do -130% light res, so i can kill any light immune monster pack, and my merc finishes off the boss. i can even kill light immune/physical immune boss, takes a little long, but i can do it. my merc uses Dream helm e bugged, ebugged ornate plate Dragon and a eth cv infinity. soon im going to put a eth skuders upped on merc, but dragon is nice for that little bit of extra damage and hydra's are cool

You should pick up the rare armors and weps. They could be 200ed self rep armors and the weapons could be cruel or fools.

It's actually much more efficient to max mastery and neglect one of the ice projectile skills, your damage will be much higher off screen with the increased pierce.

why players 1? do you find better drops overall from the faster runs on players 1 or from the way better drops on players 8 but takes longer..?

Hey xtimus I'm wondering what your thoughts are on having "too much mf". I have something like 800 mf on my sorc and to be honest I haven't noticed a huge difference in drops from about 350. A few of the people I play with tell me I'm actually more likely to get blues than uniques after a certain amount of mf. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Hi I'm playing SP and am getting about 140% MF at about level 60 and just arrived at Act V of Nightmare. The thing is I'd like to get as many items as possible to help me get pass physical immune monsters in hell (Zeal paladin). Is there any place that you would recommend for MF before Hell? Thanks a lot! Because my internet is not very good so I prefer to play SP or one-player LAN, that means I missed some items from ladder/BN. BTW I'm playing 1.14d and it has been many years since I last played the game, so I'm not sure if the same MF spots work (Like Mephisto and Bhaal were the best MF way back in 1.09).

The thing with MF is that it doesn't add up very much past the 250-300% breakpoint. Past that, only killing speed and number of runs / kills per hour can upgrade your chances at good uniques or rare items. All in all, you do want some MF on your gear but not at the cost of damage or content clearing abilities. You also want to at the very least run diablo each run you do for both experience and half decent loot. And if you want the highest item level in the game only Baal and Nithalak can drop them. From my experience(10+years of the game) and my playstyle, the sorceress is the easiest char to get going plus you can make a fireball/frozen orb and kill all the content of the game with free teleport! If you can trade your way to an infinity for your merc, restat to pure light and laught at everything!

the best number for MF is around 250-300%, more than that will increase the drop rates of magic itens and the uniques will get a minor boost. What I'm saying is that you'll be loosing unique itens because of the drop of the magic itens

My experience with 960% was that my drops were extremely bad...The best amount for me after a decade or more of playing was around 450.

You said your merc dies a lot. No Sorc, or any other character for that matter, with a teleport (Enigma) -- should not be dying "all the time". TIP: a lot of people don't know...but every time you teleport your merc comes with you. So, yes, he will die, if you don't move around and expect him to tank. Teleport away to 1.) avoid damage, and 2.) heal him with a pot if necessary. TIP #2: Killing Andarial near pillars causes her to bug out sometimes and drop items on a spot of the map where they cannot be picked up. Try to kill her in the open.

I like my MF Barb with "Find Item" skill. You can double up on treasure that way by "horking" up extra loot. It's like killing them twice. You can also go on magic finding teams where one guy does all the killing, and the other collects the treasure.

Back when finding a unique on diablo was a fucking celebration. Now they just hand it to ya.

Somehow in the latest patch Blizzard must have fixed something because it runs flawlessly on my machine now, which is awesome. I could get it to run before but it was always freezing and crashing. Several evenings playing now and no problems. I really want to just pop in my old single player characters, but I think this one is going to be from scratch. It will take longer for sure, but I need it to take up some time and keep me busy anyway, so its all good. One quick question: Do you know if there is a Runeword Mod that will work on the latest patch(I believe it is 1.14d)? Its going to take awhile for me get to the point that I will even need to worry about it, but I am hoping I can use this mod. I might just upgrade the D2 LOD on my laptop and see if it keeps the Runeword mod. Either way, I am super excited because I did not think it would even work. Keep up the great videos man!!!

I've honestly had more luck magic finding with my 31% mf frenzy barb than i've had with my 300 mf hammerdin

that High magic find would do you way better in the pits, you need to have merc with the -resist aura ? though because there all immune to 2 elements I think cold and fire ? or make light sorce...for boss fights I never ran more than 400, because in my testing with 800+ the extra time + some deaths negated any benefit .

984% MF but still a lot. I figured 1,041% MF was the max you could acquire with no anni or torch and perf items (50% ammy, another 40% ring, 4 more 7mfsc's). MF has diminishing returns though, so the more you have the less it has an effect. 350-500 is usually a good amount of MF for practical purposes.

you can just make 700mf sorce and actually be able to tele port and have room if item drops

The best spot for magic find in Diablo2 is - Snapchip skatter in Act 5 he dropps everything if you have like MF 700

Why not spend a skill point in static field? Too risky in terms of health?

Isnt Alibaba (Ist) or Gull (Ist) way cheaper choice?

What about Pindleskin? Single run takes +-20sec., is very easy to kill and drops good items.

from what ive noticed most people mispronounce things in d2 because they were young children back when first playing it and being young they read it wrong and called it that and never change due to habit

I always open every chest in this place and use the weapon/armour racks. Found a damn Skullder's Ire and another crazy thing Also, apparently such high MF isn't really required... Somewhere around the 400-600 mark is enough, you just gotta keep rinsing and repeating :-/

Marijan Desin I'm going to make a video on this but make an account on battle.net and you can download The Diablo 2 client. You don't need the discs anymore. If you have the cdkey numbers that are on the jewel case you can use those to access the game. If not you can buy Diablo 2 and lod $10 each I think.
