I remember a story from Hot Rod magazine. A classic car guy goes to a car show and starts checking out the imports. He sees the build quality, the effort that went into squeezing power out of little 4 bangers and 6 cyls. He gains a new respect for import owners. Then one of them checks out his car points to the alternator and says 'how do you like your turbo?'. SMH.

The tire slayer broke the transmission after the twin turbos yes, but that was from very hard miles being put on it prior to the turbo. It wasnt pushing near enough power to blow up a healthy trans with the turbos. What else has broken on it since then that wasnt a result of an impact?......
