Man, all of those lunches are amazing, way better that what we get. We get rice and beans with too much soup and no seasoning or salt, sometimes chapati and beans, and rarely any animal protein. Y'all are living the dream

Living the dream? Bro here we didn't even have school lunch, I used to buy a pack of noodles freeze it in the freezer the day before school, put it in a container in the morning and eat it at school. Crazy thing is we STILL don't have school lunches, now people just bring their own money to school

We don't have school lunchs where I'm from, we basically have a school tuck shop where students can buy stuff like sweets or chips or the school special for the day.

I was a Middleschooler in the Early 90s I still remember my Lunches Monday - Cheeseburger and fries day Tuesday - Tacos, Burritos, and Spanish Rice Wednesday - Spaghetti with Meatsauce Thursday - Chicken burger day with french fries Friday - Chicken Nuggets, Fries, and a dessert. Soda Machines were in the cafeteria, Along with a Concession stand thing that sold any kind of candy or chips you could want. along with the Daily dessert option, usually cookies, cake, or cupcakes. crazy what you remember if you really think about it.

Peanut butter sandwiches on their own aren't bad, but you have to mix a dollop of syrup in with the peanut butter first. It also helps if you're using something other than plain, white bread. Sourdough, for example, is a far better option and makes for a much tastier sandwich, imo.
